It's fun to watch these old tapes. The reviewers always bitch about the interior, and the trunk space, and in general just can't enjoy the car, but then they rave about how it performs. It would have been nice if the guy had taken 20 seconds to adjust the tracking.

These cars are the best.

I had a brand new one (in 1989) that ran 13.50 @102 mph bone stock. For the list price of over $31,000 I could have bought a Cadillac ElDorado! With some mods such as a test pipe/ K&N filter CAI/ Flowmaster muffler/ custom tune and a manual boost control (was running 20 lbs.) had the car running a best of 12.18 @ 115 mph on street Gatorback S compound tires. All this was in 1990 and I can just imagine IF they had kept up the development of this engine what it might have become. It was putting out almost 450 hp and yet idled like a normal 6 cylinder and was getting 27 mpg. Man, do I miss that car, but had to sell it in 1991 due to business slowdown.
