i wanting to know if anyone would have the origanal air cleaner for an 82 z28 with the 305 4bbl when i bought it it had a little aftermarket one but i really want the origanal look or it not aftermarket if anyone has one i prefer in good condition just show me a pic of what u got and name a price!
P.s. if no one has one for sale do you know of a website i could buy one.
It shouldn't be too difficult to find one. Pretty much every 82-92 low output carbed or TBI 305 had the exact same air cleaner. I think I've got one left-over, but I'm not sure if I've got a lid for it. The stock single snorkle air cleaner is a restriction even on the 140hp 305's. It's usually one of the first things people ditch in search of more power. I'll dig around a bit in the garage today and get back to you.
The air cleaner itself or the air cleaner assembly? If you're after just the air cleaner, just get a Delco replacement at your local parts store. If there's still an original air cleaner left somewhere on the planet, it's going to be a rusty POS anyway. If you want the whole air cleaner snorkle assembly, then follow what Drew said.
I guess it's a regional thing... Round these parts the disposable part is an Air Filter, or Air Cleaner Element. An Air Cleaner is the tin can/filter assembly sitting on top of the engine.
I looked at the one I've got on the shelf, and it's just the base of the air cleaner assembly. I think I should have a duct and scoop somewhere too, but I'd have to dig a bit, and I'm pretty sure I don't have a lid. I could probably come up with a lid in a week or two. The rubber vaccuum hose is gone, but that's easy enough to fix. It definitely could use some clean up and a repaint. If you can't come up with anything better, send me a PM and we can work something out.

Plenty of clean, rust-free air cleaners sitting around junkyards here in the south -- they're a dime a dozen.
yea im looking for the whole thing and i imagine at one of the junk yards over in dfw they might have one but i live like 70 miles to the nearest one and all the junk yards out this way dont have any third gens so yea they only have one its a 87 and it dont have an engine or much of anything else so yea lol
