Hey guys, I can't seem to find an RPO sticker on my 91 Trans Am 'vert. There is a spot in the center console storage that looks like old sticker residue so I'm assuming someone peeled it off. Where were the RPO stickers located on the 91s anyway if not the center console? And if mine is missing, is there anyway to get another copy with the car's VIN number or something?
I tried too, same thing "not in data base, check back later" I can get the rpo codes through work, they call some company that bought the rights from GM but it costs $35, maybe I'll try that.
Take your vin to a g.m dealer and get them to run it. I did to verify mine as the spid is missing as well. Cost nothing to do in Canada. I have the G.M docs as well if you send away for them. (As Mark zz3 did) before I bought it. It comfirm the rpo codes, but wont tell you what they mean. It will verify the rpo for you, as it did for me with the A4U code I wanted.
