anyone else here owns a firebird pro/am?
new guy here, i just traded my 97 tahoe for a 1988 firebird pro/am last week and from what i have been told there's only 500 of these made each year from 87-89 so just seeing if anyone else has one of these, below is the picture of mine, right now i am in the process of repairing the front ground effects on it and will have new pictures up soon

The Pro Ams seem to be popping up recently, atleast here on the site.
In case you're wondering, the Pro Am is essentially an appearance package:

hi jt, yea i been reading that about it, it's all original down to the am/fm cassette player and the rims i was thinking of upgrading the radio and the rims and even the exhaust to a flowmaster to give it alittle more sound it's too quiet for me, but havn't decided yet if i want to do that or just keep it as-is

Upgrading those parts, despite whatever collectability a car may have, is not really harmful as those parts are easily changed without modification and can be reverted back to stock (providing you keep the parts and the job is done right).
I would say to make what you want with the car.
