Re: 1983 PONTIAC FIREBIRD 500 SPECIAL EDITION

Why does it seem just as likely that someone took the spoiler and dash plaque off a car in a junkyard and put them on another Firebird?

Since the Firebird 500 was a sticker/stripe package, and this car carries none of the stickers or stripes, it doesn't exactly fit in.

But as you always say, after 30 years any number of things could've been done to it. A sticker scheme is part of a paintjob, which the car has likely had done in the last thirty years.

That said, I don't think it's a real 500 either.

Re: 1983 PONTIAC FIREBIRD 500 SPECIAL EDITION

Wow this is the 5th on on SoCal craigslist in the last few months and the first '83 I've seen. It is the correct colour for '83 and the paint looks too good; its likely been repainted and since no one makes repops of the decals, left off.
