It may seem like it to those of us who really don't like T-Tops, but I don't think so. I don't know of a breakdown that specific but per the Camaro White Book, 59,600 out of 137,760 1987 Camaros had T-Tops. Backing out the 1,007 convertibles built that year, that's about 44%. And there were 12,105 Camaros (all IROCs) built with the B2L 5.7 TPI engine. So, assuming the T-Top percentage was the same across the Camaro line, there would have been approximately 5,325 350 IROC hardtops built.
Of course, common sense says the percentage wouldn't have been the same across the line. A 5.7 liter IROC would have been much more likely to have been ordered with T-Tops than a regular V-6 Camaro Sport Coupe, for example, as it was a more expensive car that sold to more affluent buyers. But I'd still wager to guess there were probably at least 3,000 without T-Tops. So it's rare, but it's not that rare.

Car: 88 IROC / 97 Z28 / 00 SS Engine: L98 / LT1 / LS1 Transmission: A4 / T-56 / T-56 Axle/Gears: 2.77 / 3.42 / 3.42 Auburn | Re: how many 87' 350 iroc HARDTOPS were made?? Its not really all that rare to see a 350 hardtop IROC...I almost bought one a few years back for $2,500 with 81k on it...needed pretty much everything inside, and new paint. Rarity shouldn't matter to you anyway...with an HSR 383, a built tranny, and an SS hood, it isn't exactly stock anyway
