It's missing the bar-code stickers on the wheels and the drivers side bolster looks worse for the wear considering the mileage. He could have re-pro'd the black label for the battery too haha!
Seriously tho, that is a gorgeous car!

The battery isn't an issue for Legendary Motorcar. Peter Klutt owns the rights to the battery toppers that you see on the older restorations. I reached out to him years ago about reproducing the Delco Freedom battery tops and he declined. He said that there aren't enough people restoring or interested in restoring the 80s cars.

The same leather bolster in my (just turned 100,000 mile) 90 GTA is actually in better shape.. But there is a bit more light general cracking and creasing over the rest of the seat.

I have an answer for the seat bolster issue. Many people slide into a car and ruin the bolster. Remember that this car is still 25 years old. In that time, the car has probably had many people in and out of the car, while it wasn't being driven. I doubt that this car was just sitting all those years without someone getting in and admiring the interior. The bolster on my seat has a small mark where a repair person at one point slid in and marked it. I can't replace the bolster, so I need to just deal with it.

Another Matt Garrett owned car! He has a nice collection of cars and I would love to play with just some of these!

it's everything i ever dreamed of...except for the leather interior (not of fan of leather.) But it's so mint overall. Black on black with the diamond spoke wheels. Did anyone catch what it mentioned about the total production # for the GTA models, let alone total black gtas. Can anyone verify that? I keep seeing numbers that don't match. Infact i also got sheet directly from PHS that stated something different, I have to check and reply later. I didn't see how much this black GTA went for, anyone know?

The car was advertised deep in the $40k range.

Thanks Bro,
They pale in comparison to a few of your rides.
Haven't been on TGO much this year, been occupied with other things. Weather hasn't been the best either, a lot of rain.
I did look at a TTA yesterday. The original owner lives close and has been trying to sell it to me for 5 yrs now. He knows I'll keep it nice and he can visit it anytime he wants. Once a year he brings it by my house. Enjoy his visits, he's a great guy and the car is spectacular with 10K original miles.
If I had the storage space, it wouldn't have left here today!

when I was looking for a car I actually called him and we chatted for a while. he will only look at cars with under 12K I was looking for under 20. I remember talking with him about about this GTA and him telling me he wanted no less than 50K for it but was not interested in selling it any time soon. how much did it go for?
