weird RPO's

Hello all

Anyone out there have these RPO's on their SPID?
B3W, B9K, D6j, GA4. I have checked just about every RPO decoder on the net ( well maybe not all of 'em) and these four seem elusive. I found out that B9k might mean some kind of side molding. Anyone able to verify???

The first thing I'd look at is the RPO's... are you sure that your B isn't an 8? or that your 3 isn't a B? How about G's and 6's... People make those mistakes a lot.
Try them both ways if there's a doubt, then search with yahoo for that 3 character combo and see what you find. The G body guys, and Y body guys have an understanding of RPO codes too, one of them might have your RPO with a definition listed on a page.

good luck.

For example, we've compared rpo's on my 84 sport coupe to our friend's 87 monte ss (g-body), and one of the rpo codes is the same. CC1, which is for t-tops. for gears, I have GU6, which is for 3.42 gears. the SS has GT4, which is for 3.73 gears. I agree with Drew, just because we don't have it on our decoder doesn't mean it isn't out there.

let us know what you find out.

d6j is gonna be a speedo gear size, unknown one, and ga4 is a rearend gear size of unknown.
an 83w might suggest exterior color, possible white
and b3w suggests a special equipment package
these are meerly EYE candy though. i have a large collection of rpo's and these "seem" to be heading you in "a" direction. GOOD LUCK, SHAGGY
