I was reading on this site that in 1992 there were only 4 Firebirds made is a color other than red. It just so happends to be blue. I dont know is it was painted before I bought it,but on the sheet that came with the car it says Quazar Blue as the color. Can anyone help me figure out if its my car.
What site did you see this on? Medium Quazar Blue was a very widely used color in 1992. What model Firebird is your car? I'd imagine that if it's a Formula or something it might be possible that there were only 4 Formula's painted that color that year like my GTA is one of only 18 GTA's painted my color in 1992......

The production numbers on this site are a bit screwed up for 1991 and 1992. The only 92 numbers listed right now are for the Firehawk. Someday I'll get around to updating it, but right now there really isn't all that much to add and I don't get the impression that many people really look at it very often if at all.
No mine is not a Formula, its just a regular Firebird V-6. Man, I was hoping that mine would be rare or something that way it make up for the V-6. Thanx anyway guys.
Rare colors are kinda cool to have, but it's not gonna make the car sell for more. Paint is something that is easily changed... it really doesn't say the car was rare, just that someone wanted a certain color. different models of the same car can be considered rare, like if it's a factory convertible or something. But it's only really anniversary and heritage models that can be considered collectors cars... ex: Firehawk, '89 TTA (20th anniversary), Pace Cars etc.
maybe the color of a car can make it worth more. Read this guy's story about his purple ws6. Apparently it is worth a bunch. http://www.lswon.com/id40.htm
