| Canadian Cars Good morning!
If the car was built in Canada or originally shipped to a Canadian dealer, then alas, no, I would not have the invoice.
Unfortunately, my influence on the GM PhotoStore isn't that great. I do get to pick a few images now and then, and have suggested more "muscle cars" from the 60's to 90's, but we really are limited as to the number of photos we can pick for each model. We're only going to post about 2500 photos for ALL of GM throughout history, so it will be impossible to get a shot for each model year of EVERY GM vehicle ever built.
There is an option to buy photos directly from us, but it's more expensive: you'd have to pay for the print(s) AND my time (and I'm NOT a cheap date!)... |

Car: 87 IROC-Z Engine: L98 350 Transmission: 700-R4 Auto Axle/Gears: BW 3.27 | JennKstep,
Are you the one that cost me about $350 for my custom photo I have over the TV? I love the photo and paid another $300 for professional framing. I attached a pic at the bottom. It's nice having the only print of something. I would be happy to buy more from the media archives, but you need to get more 80's performance pics up there. I plan on getting a few of the Camaro pics, a Buick Grand National pic and a few others, but I need an inexpensive option for the mid 80's Olds 442. Thanks for all your help with the invoices. |

Car: 87 IROC-Z Engine: L98 350 Transmission: 700-R4 Auto Axle/Gears: BW 3.27 | It was a 3 page spread in the 1991 brochure. I contacted GM Media Archives back in 99 and had the photo enlarged, retouched and even had to sign a contract stating its use. I was happy to see the GM Photostore open. Isn't this a new name for the media archives? |

| Good morning! Hey all!
Scott: nope, we're still the GM Media Archive, but GM PhotoStore is one of our pet projects.
91rsowner4life: what e-mail address would your request have come from? I'm getting about 200 messages per day, 35-40 of which are for invoices, so there's no way I can say yes or no without knowing exactly which e-mail address the message came from.
Everyone else: Yipee! I'm glad you're getting the invoices soon after I'm sending them out. I am baked up right now, especially since this is NOT my promary job function (I'm used to doing about 30 of these per YEAR, not per DAY) so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be patient! Thank you!
Oh, yeah...GM will be shut down starting X-mas Eve and we won't be back until Jan. 5. If you send me a request during that time, I won't have any way to access it until we get back. |

Car: 1989 TransAm GTA Engine: One sweet modified 355 TPI. Transmission: The kind that shifts.... | I just got my invoice in the mail today and I gotta say this. :hail: Thank You Jenn!!!!:hail:
PS. Jen, don't worry about the lack of information. At least now I have a few more ways to dig up information. I could possibly even mail the dealership and request what info they have on my car.
And, maybe now its time to go to the PHS and get some more info.

| Patience, grasshopper(s) Hi guys!
Please please PLEASE be patient with me! I'm handling roughly 200 or more of these VIN requests (in addition to my standard work) and I'm doing my best! I don't want to sound like I'm complaining or anything...but please! Please! Be patient with me!
When I find your invoice, I'll send you an e-mail letting you know it's on the way. If I can't find the invice, I'll send you a message and let you know I don't have it. If I don't send an e-mail, I haven't found it yet, but I'm still working on it. I'm trying to handle these in the order they come in, but after the monkey business about whether or not I could release the invoices, and the "resistance" of our microfilm dept., things have been delayed for a few days. I might not get a majority of these until after the holidays. I don't mind the "just checking" in e-mails, but please do bear in mind that I've been getting a ton of those, too! Eek!
Jennifer (feeling a wee bit stressed...chocolate might help...) |

Car: 87 IROC-Z Engine: L98 350 Transmission: 700-R4 Auto Axle/Gears: BW 3.27 | Jenn,
Don't get stressed over these requests. You are the only person that's really been able to offer these guys any of their original documentation since they purchased the cars second hand. They are all excited to see something "historical" about their cars. I can guarantee you that none of them will pressure you to get the info. They are excited about the invoices and are following up to make sure you got their email request. Please don't over do it this close to the holidays. Everyone here understands that things take time, so..... |

| Thank you! Thanks, Scott. I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed with the number of fellas who keep asking over and over when they'll get their invoices. I feel kinda guilty, you know?
I know everyone's excited about getting their hands on these, and I'm really happy I can help! |
