| Aww, shucks, Brent I wasn't going to name any names or anything. And TRUST ME, you're NOT the only one who's done that. Yours was a GOOD example of what I COULD understand...and hey! Sometimes 8's DO look like B's...especially without your glasses, in the dark, in the cold, with the dog bugging you... |

Hey, we're having a heat wave in NY. 18 deg and expecting a foot or more later today. You get any of that yesterday in De-troit?
1G1FP... is tucked away in the garage, waiting for warmer days!
All the best to you! |

| Hey Dean!
I did get your request. I'll get started on it right away.
Heat wave...hmm...I wish! I'm a Cali girl originally, and I'm completely fluxomed by people here in Detroit who actually go OUTSIDE and play in the SNOW... ? Are they NUTS?
Brr...snowy, cold, sleety, etc. here...and I think it's headed your way. I heard NY is supposed to get about another 6". |

Thanks so much!
And hey, those guys in the U.S., I do ne ed your mailing addresses. I hate to be a brat, but if I see one more message without a mailing address, I'm just goin' to start deleting the ones without all the info I need. Well, I'll THINK about deleting them. | Scania, I don't think they realized maybe that Jennifer is a girls' name? I'm not offended by it, anyway. "Sir" is at least a respectful title. I've been called a LOT worse.
Have a good day! |

| Hey Chris!
flrtin1 has a point. but I'll let it go just this once. Yes, I did get your request on Jan. 11. If you read the rest of this thread you'll see that it's currently taking about 5 weeks for me to get my hands on the invoices. ONCE I HAVE THE INVOICE, I'll send you an e-mail. I know it would be easier for everyone if I replied to the messages when I receive them to let everyone know I'm working on their requests, but I really, truly don't have the time. Management here at GM has said that if this takes up too much of my time, they'll start charging for the service, and no-one wants that to happen. So please be patient and you'll get your invoice as soon as I can send it. Thanks! |

I was waiting a while hoping demand would go down, but I guess that isn't happening. Hey Vinnie, I did get your request, and I'm working on it. It is taking about five weeks to get these back to you, so please be patient. I posted a lengthy message about this very issue yesterday (Tuesday); if you have the time, you may want to check it out.
Thanks! |

| Virus? One more thing...I got a couple of messages this morning from one ThirdGenner asking me why I was e-mailing viruses. I checked my handy GM virus-protection software, and it is working. It is automatically updated about every 2 days by our tech folks at EDS, so I don't think there's any way I could be sending out viruses with my e-mail. There was a lot of weird code in this ThirdGenner's message, so I'm thinking HE'S sending out the virus and doesn't know it. I think his name was Chris. If you're out there, Chris, run Norton or McAfee or something. I'm pretty sure it wasn't me who sent you the virus. Thanks! |

Chances are the virus is being sent by someone else who has your name in thier "Friend" list.
Someone opens a Virus e-mail unknowlingly and the virus picks a name from their contact list to e-mail and then attaches another name to it as the sender.
I have gotten e-mails that claim to be from my e-mail address with virus' inside...
I think these kids making these worms and virus' should be taken out and shot, all it does is congest the internet.

| Here, here John; I'm with you. I workd at EDS when the Melissa and LoveBug viruses went around and it was a nightmare. GM's address book (everyone has it in their e-mail) has about half a million entries. Can you imagine what a virus could do to our servers? Yeowch. |

I find it interesting that these virus' are typically made by kids in highschool who apparently have nothing better to do... I personally think possibly they do not have enough homework, I kind of like what they did to Capitan Crunch... (regarded by some to be the first hacker) he can no longer touch a computer without going to prision...

| I was raised in a tiny little suburb near Sacremento called Walnut Grove (not Walnut Creek). It was a dinky little farming community when I lived there.
You guys have some competition now, by the way. Somehow a group of Monte Carlo and another group of Corvette collectors got wind of this invoice service. Welcome, fellas! But now my inbox is extra-full, so please be extra-patient. It's only a matter of time before the Chevette, Cavalier, and Celebrity collectors start clamouring for their invoices, too. |

Unfortunately, it is a duplicate of the one I received in the PHS package I got a few weeks ago...
So...if you get the PHS package, don't bother Jenn with a request...
Thanks again Jenn...
