MSRP is the manufacturer suggested retail price and INV AMT is the invoiced amount. So the totals at the bottom are showing what the window sticker would show for a price (MSRP) and the amount the dealer paid Chevrolet (INV AMT) to get the car. That's what an invoice is. It breaks down the cost of items and shows a suggested retail.
OPt 3 is the fully loaded option package. There are still individual options available, but as far as option packages, the car has everything.
I finally got mine in the mail, although I got two of them, basically the same thing just one has a paragraph towards the bottom the other one doesn't... any idea why i would have 2 of them???

Got mine today, I sent a request in early January. Found out my car had a MSRP of $16,000, almost $5,000 of that price was options alone, crazy to think a third of the price was options. Thanks again Jenn, and congrats on the new baby, and thanks to whoever is taking care of these requests now for us.

Just got an e-mail back from them about my 86 TA (I'm also from Canada):
"Hello,
GMMA Dealer Invoice records for Pontiac only go back to 1987.
Due to the model and year of your vehicle, we regret to inform you that we
do not have a copy of the original invoice. However, if you go to http://www.phs-online.com , you should be able to find all the information
you need for your vehicle. There is a $35.00 fee for any request made to
the Pontiac Historic Services web site.
Sorry we couldn't help you.

Is this a load of bull, or is it the truth? Anybody else with TA's, have you had your invoice sent? I'd love to know if anybody has some idea...

Really??? Then how did I get my invoice for my '82 T/A earlier in the year but now they can't give me one for my '83 T/A because records only go back to '87?

I sent an email to JennKstep yesterday and today I received a reply:
"I will be out of the office starting 05/05/2004 and will not return until 12/31/2004.
This email address will no longer be monitored after May 31, 2004. Peggy Vezina has replaced Jennifer in Media Archive Research, and her email address is peggy.vezina@gm.com . Thank you for contacting GM Media Archive."
Seven months is a long time to be out of the office. Hopefully Peggy will help us out. I am sending my request today.

Has there been any word from Peggy? I sent a request about a month ago and still haven't received it. If Peggy is still going to take requests, I might try resending mine.
When I sent Peggy an email, I got a reply within 20 minutes. She told me she has my request for an invoice and that it will take about three weeks to process. Sounds good to me! I'll post again when/if I receive it.
I sent a 2nd e-mail a few days ago with all my info and still haven't heard anything. My original request was about 4.5 months ago. Has anyone gotten one lately?

Hi all! Peggy is the new Researcher at the Media Archive who replaced me. I decided not to come back after my maternity leave. Peggy's a really nice lady who will be taking care of all of your invoice requests as soon as she can. I miss the job but I can't imagine putting the baby in day care... *sigh* anyway, if you guys have any issues I can assist with, please post here, and I'll see what I can do. ^-^ They're not bringing back Camaro/Firebird though; I already asked.
Someone asked how they can get their invoice if their car was shipped to a Canadian dealer. I'm sorry; the Archive doesn't have those ones; only for cars sold to a U.S. dealer.
Let me be the first to Say thanks again Jenn and congrats on the baby.I don't think anyone would disagree that FAMILY IS ALWAYS FIRST,So I respect your decision. But too bad though you were very nice enough to help out a few thousand people I was like one of the first to ask for and receive all 3 of my invoice's.Good, luck with your kid and don't be afraid to stop by and say hi.And of course Jenn all i have to say is :hail: :hail: :hail:   :yourock:
I received my invoice yesterday. I originally requested it on 5/13/2004, so roughly six and a half weeks. Not a long wait in comparison to some of the other members requests. $26k for a brand new '92 T/A convertible
shut down hard i think... i can't believe somone necroed this one, it has been dead for quite a while...
if you read the whole post (as i have, well, i skimmed) you would read that a new researcher was put on it and this stuff got pushed to the back burner, you could try emailing and see where it gets you...

You get a copy of the build sheet, and a bunch of other literature about your specific car. I haven't ordered mine yet, but the guy I talked to said the package contained 20 or 30 pages of stuff.
