Are you talking about the ground effects that are the same as the aero package on the 84 Trans am and the 15th anniversary Ta package? If so, I am almost sure I saw a company that has those available now...I will dig through my too many piles of catalogs and post it if I find it...

Didn't they also use those in 91 when there was a rear disk brake shortage?

Seems like I've heard they used those aluminum drums on a bunch of MonteCarlos as standard equipment?

Not to poo poo your post, but honestly the rarest thing about that whole thing is a Working Solonoid... Every T/A in 1983 and 1984 got one, and then you have the 1982's...

if anyone needs a wonder bar or 34/36mm hollow sawy bars let me know.....i got a good freind who parts out 3rd gens. hes got at least 15 hollow sway bars. got a good story for you all.....................................so i put a th350 in my car and had to get a new driveshaft made. i had my factory aluminum driveshaft in my dads garage, and a friend broke his at the track. so i let him borrow mine. BIG mistake, the next week he was at the track and i was not thinking about him still having my driveshaft in his car and he launched his 6-speed 6 liter ls1 that makes 510 to the wheels and it instantly ripped right at the trans yoke! i was devestated. he promissed me another one but i never got it.a**hole. btw if anyone needs any 3rd gen parts let me know. that freind of mine has been selling me rearends and stuff for years. he is extremly cheap! no one ever comes close to his prices. example: 89 gta rear disc setup with pbr calipers=$60. my last 9bolt=$150. 36mm sway bar=$20. my last 10 bolt( now blowen up in every possible way) with a zexel carrier and richmond 3.42's=$200. like i said if you need anything just pm me, id be glad to help any of you guys out. p.s. i got my silver iroc rear badge for $1.50 at a local junk yard that has about 170 3rd gens, its great for relays and light blubs too.they only charge for one bulb, no mtter how many you have.(still lookin for the aluminum hood though!)

I personally have a couple of those screens, I take them and with the block off plate they give me a little more to look at than just a blank spot, on the scoop... That is actually what Pontiac did with them on the LG4 in 1982.

THe nice thing is its subtle, and most people would never notice...

I was at a junkyard, and they had a set of the C&C tops inside, they were perfect condition...

I was going to buy them but I tried to see if they woudl fit on my factory style T-top holes... Nope, not a chance...

I think they simply trew them away

I have the old Delco radios as well as aftermarket. I advise dumping the factory speakers to actually improve headunits from the factory...with limited power on a HQ 4 ohm speaker set!
As for rare, any convertible trim and body panels are quite hard to find along with a complete good front clip

Man, that sucks, you should have bought them and sold them on this site. I'm pretty sure that they were very high dollar. I'm sure you could have made some $.

Not all popped up in the back, from what I've read on this site, that cost an extra $1000. Lil overpriced if you ask me.

Hi guys.don't know if this counts.I found an owners manual COVER with a cassette demo tape for a 20th T/A .It has a copper color embossing of the anniversary emblem molded in.I found this at a swap meet and is still in its "baggie".The only other part i had trouble scoring for my 85 was the bumper cover z emblem that was color keyed to the code 26 Bland Blue!A dealer in MI had it laying on the shelf, otherwise discontinued.........BILL

Don't know how rare that 20th TTA kit is, but I and quite a few other 20th TTA owners have them (us 20th TTA owners seem to collect everything for the 20th TTA! )
I know that they made more owner's boxes (kit with the box with the gold emblem on it, with the demo tape, keyring, owner's manual vinyl cover, as well as the door and windsheild decal), I heard 1600 of them from PVL back in 1989!
I bought some extras for around $60.00 back in 1989! They sell for over $600.00 now!

Nice find,

George

How about the nose and rear bumper from any 91-92 Firebird.

I called around for one and I wasn't able to find 'em, even Replacement aftermarket ones.

I am glad I still have my 91 and it's in good shape. My 88 is gonna get that nose and rear bumper.

I dont think the sway bars are that hard to find.

What about the notchback hatch? or a digital dash? I'd kill to have a notchback.
