I will post a pic of them asap. My wording might have been confusing but I bought a bunch of the 1992 model brochures which is the plain jane blue one like you have B4CTom. I probably bought like 5 or 6 of them. Cant remember where but it was like 5 years ago though. I need to find them too. The 1991 brochure is far better but they contain the same info, no more no less.

I finally got some pics and the VINs off those B4Cs I was telling you about. Here is the rolled 92 B4C its VIN is: 1G1FP2385NL148386
Here are some more pics of the rolled 92 B4C. As you can see in the pic of the speedo the car was probibly traveling at a high rate of speed with it was wreaked.
Here is the purple 92 B4C, It was an Indiana highway partol car I belive. It is only 100 cars apart from the burgandy one that was rolled. The VIN is: 1G1FP2381NL148286
Its not a great pic but the car has been stored for around 3 years and there wasnt much room between it and the 91 vette next to it.
Here are some more pics. There is one of an odd ground strap that connects the hood to the body of the car, the only thing they can come up with is that it might have been to get rid of static electricity. And you can see the radio is removed as well, it had a later modle radio in it and they were in the process of putting a correct radio in it.
I saved the best one for last. This car is a survivor. It is in awsome shape for having over 100k on it. It was a civilian car and was special ordered for a gentalman in southern indiana. The car came in and a guy who worked at the dealership snached it out from under the guy who ordered it. And there is supposed to be another black 92 B4C ordered exactly like this one other than the color. Its VIN is: 1G1FP2388NL145109
No unfortunitly none of them are for sale ive tryed to buy the purple one befor. And yes that is a 9C1, they have either 2 or 3 of them. They also have 3, 4th gen B4Cs. They used to have 4 but I bought mine off them. They also have a rare stripped 01 SS, and a 2000 brickyard pace car SS with less than 3,000 miles.
Originally posted by 91_B4C_RS I am trying to figure out the number of 1991 b4c camaro i have out of the 592 produced.
Does anyone have the number of the first 91 b4c camaro producded from the VIN number ?
my number is 137152 i just need to know what the first one was.
thanks.
wouldnt we all, nobody has that answer currently
but, the best way to figure it is to make a registry, and currently this is the best registry there is (I challenge anyone to show me a better 91-92 B4C registry).
listing them by vin number gives you your order of the registry atleast.
how do you tell if your car is a B4C?I know that may seem like a stoopid question but I really dont know and there may be people that dont know how to distinguish...so pardon my ignorance please
look in the tool compartment "little latching plastic door on drivers side which is opposite of the spare tire under the hatch area" for the option code sticker. Look for "B4C" among the items on the label.
Does this mean you have a partial registry available for viewing??
How do we get to where we can see it??
How many cars do you have so far??
I always wondered where that sticker was located.
Just found mine by accident myself this spring.
Been in & out of the side compartment zillions of times but never paid any attention to what the sticker was til now.
Looked in the floor consel lid when I bought it in 2000.
When it wasn't there or in the door I'd always figured it was a fake.

Why are people so paranoid about posting their VIN numbers? I don't get it. You have no problem driving your car around town and leaving it in a parking lot where someone can simply read the VIN number_through the windshield.
Do you think that by posting, some guy is going to travel 1,500 miles across the country to steal your car or something?
ssean92, sorry man. None of the parts are forsale off that rolled car. They are in process of stripping it to rebuild another base 92 RS they have. Gonna build a B4C clone.
I have a 1991 B4C with a 305 and a 5 speed trans. I bought it in Austin, TX about 7 years ago. It has 160,000 miles and still runs 14.01 @ 96 mph. Black w/grey interior

It may seem paranoid to some people, but perfectly legit to others. Why waste time thinking about it? To each his own.
I have a 1991 B4C VIN#1G1FP2389ML181924. It was bought originally by for me by my police department. I drove it 4 years for my department than purchased it from them. Over the last 2 years I have restored it to showroom condition and left it completly stock. This car is going to Barret Jackson some time in the next 60 day to be sold. The car has 138k original miles. Everything has been rebuilt: eng, trans, diff and complete susp all with original gm parts. Car was repainted and interior recieved new gm carpet and the seat were recovered with gm seat covers. I even have 4 brand new eagle GSC's. I bought the restoration parts over the years because I new they would eventually quit making them. I have all documents with this car inlcuding pictures of me picking it up a Bill Dunfee Chevrolet when it was new, a 13min video of me and the car on cops in a 153mph pursuit, all service records, before and after pictures of restoration and all reciepts. I will really miss this car when its gone. I also own a 94 B4C Camaro, 94 9C1 Caprice LT1's and a 99 9C1 Tahoe. All cars that I drove for my department.
Options: Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Hatch Release, Air Conditioning, Rear Window Defroster, Tilt,Cruise Contol. Rarer Options: Engine Block Heater & Rear Cargo Shade Cover & Eng Oil Cooler. It has the am/fm/cass and is grey inside & out.
I have ran all of my codes but havent found some of them:
E92,FLT,IPB,R6D,R6V,VQ3,VQ6 and 1AA
Originally posted by p.haze92 Thanks for the vin David. Hylton, I need your vin. I see you have a B4C, was it a RCMP?
I think that all of the RC cars were blue, with the majority out in the western provinces. My car came from Saskatchewan originally, although some people swear that it was the same car that pulled them over out here in Alberta!
I think that the Metro Toronto Police had some as well - there was an article years ago that was broadcast by TSN (a canadian cable sports network) that showcased third gen pursuit cars....
Also, based on the info posted by Mark ZZ3, there were 57 Z49 1LE cars and 30 R7U Player's Challenge cars as a subset of the 57 in 1992 imported. That would mean a max possible 27 B4C's to Canada... how many are on your list?

Barrett Jackson sold a !le car yesterday on Speed Channel with 400 miles on the odometer, I woulda swore they said it was a 305 5 spd car, searched their website and it didn't come up. But this car did...
I emailed them to see if I could get the VIN I'll letcha know.
Here's the reply...
<<We received your request for more information on a car in our auction, but unfortunately, the consigner has only supplied the information that is posted on the website. >>

Mr.Camaro69, that is a 1LE Camaro and not a B4C. It was a 350/auto and brought $40,000 and it had only 78 miles on it. Man talk about beautiful. How could you not help yourself and drive that car. I'll take the vin if you can get it.
I am about to re-update my spreedsheet to figure out how many vins we have. Should be around 400+. Texas provided me with all of the 1992 Camaro Vins they bought(big help, 155 vins out of the 589).

I can personally confirm that the Toronto Police had them - one pulled me over on the DVP!
Haze, there's not much telling what the car is till someone with a good eye for RPO's and VIN decoding looks at it. According to Barrett Jackson, the only info they have oin auto is what the seller gives them which is on the page. The last sentence mentioned police car, so I'm assuming you'd find a B4C RPO.
All that's needed is someone living near the area that could check it out personally...BTW, where did you say you live?
I live in Mesa Arizona. Sorry but that was a 1LE Z28 therefore you will not find that B4C designation. Dont get me wrong, not knocking the car, just the mis-information they portrayed. I was going to go out there tonight(Saturday) but did not feel like spending $130 for us to get in. Man am I cheap. Besides that the only 3rd gen had already sold.

ps - orig from Ottawa (Nepean) - my Mom still lives there.....
Hi Neil,
Actually, mine is a Texas car. I wish I got an RCMP car but they are hard to find. Look me up when you're out here visiting your mom. We have a lot of TGO members in town and hang out frequently. All good guys!

Is your car the one that got smashed in Illinois? I heard that one ended up in Canada.

You all may want to kill me after this post.
maybe this is too late to ask you add to your research work but maybe do a 350 vs 305 vs 3.1 motor and tpi vs turnport? just a thought.
I have a 92 305 tpi with auto vin is 1G1FP23E7NL105920
Friend had a 305 with 5 speed. If i ever here from him again I will try to get the vin.
Here is the kill one I had a 1992 that was wreck in the rear and I parted that out it had a 305 tpi with auto as will but I have no vin to give.
I will look at the local yard as well as there a a few here in my area.
This is ONLY for 1991 and 1992 B4C police package camaro's. Those vins start either with 1g1fp23f or 1g1fp238. Other than that, they are of no concern. B4C's either came 305 5spd only or 350 auto only. NO 305 auto's. Not sure where you are going with thoughts. Not being harsh here, just do not need alot of eronious messages.
There is a link to an ebay auction for a 1992 B4C with ONLY 2200 miles on it!!! It lists the VIN so you can log that one. Im sure it will be one of the last times it will ever be seen sence it will probibly be rat holed by a collector after the auction. Just wanted to pass it along.
Geez. I also have some good news about that burgandy B4C that was rolled. Im not going to be able to save it ofcorse. BUT I am buying it from my friend along with a 1992 RS to build a clone of the fallen B4C. I WILL NOT be trying to pass it off as a B4C though. Just a well prepped RS. Just thought Id pass that along.
Im not sure. I know his dad has moved out of state and he just bought an 02 WS6, so you might be able to get one of them from him but its hard to say. The red one would take quite a bit to get because its dang neer mint, but they might consider selling the purple one. Ill have to run it by him and see what he says.
This is my 91' B4C. ~136k miles. 305 5spd. I have a listing of all the RPO codes. Vin is 1G1FP23F7ML180835. I think it may be one of the last B4C's produced in 91. Its my understanding that it is the 3rd to last camaro produced in 91'. Original black/white color code if i remember correctly.
