I dont know if this thread is still active or not but I snagged the rear brakes off a B4C car here in Northern New York, Dont know why it was here in the salvage yard but it still has it's faded NYPD badging and the yard has it listed as a 91 305/5 speed car which are long gone, hope this helps even a little

If you really need the VIN I need to find a shift knob and button for my car I can swing out and get it if you want

wonder if this thread is still active, bought a 91 z28 so i thought last saturday but i looked @ the rpo codes and it shows b4c so im hoping is a b4c camaro rs it is a 350 auto black vin #1g1fp2385ml181080 car needs some minor work, but if its a b4c its more then worth it, but i also have an 88 iroc originally a 305 auto so now im thinking which would be a best choice to keep
If the RP code is B4C then it should be legit. I have not heard of a Z28 B4C though, maybe some one slapped the stickers on it? Maybe post your RPO codes or decode them and see what you've got. If it is a B4C car it is rare and worth keeping. Even if it is a Z28 I'd take the L98 TPI car over a 305.
yeah car did turn out to be a B4c rs, figured that out a few days after my post, its nice currently in the shop getting soem exhaust done, but it does need soem work as it has a bit of rust, plus my iroc is not a 305 anymore its a 350HSR with a 350 tranny and 373 gearing. no slouch by any means, and with all the work, time and money i've spent on it its sad to see it go. plus i love that my iroc is unique, where as the b4c i would have to keep stock to keeps its value and frankly stock isnt my thing, i like chopping and rebuilding

Sounds good, you could always flip the B4C on E-Bay. Des not seem to be a HUGE demand for these cars, but some folks like them. Is yours 1LE too? Mine does not have the 1LE on it.
I just picked up the 1992 1le/B4C from Crazy Hawaiian, he listed it on page 3. It is a power seat/power window, 5.7/A4car, black with grey interior. He gave it to me for a great deal with a lot of extra parts. Could not say no. It is a former HPD marked fleet car, he bought it from the auction in 2005. The body is faded, but in much better shape than my 1991. It also still has the locking gun cover in the rear.
That includes the Z49 optioned cars. Going slowly but surely. Any vins like this helps the cause for sure. Thanks for providing it.
very true.....it would help if the vin code for the police model were posted up on this thread...it would help someone ID it.....some owners are too young to know the difference

You can not ID a B4C by VIN number alone unless you call a GM dealer and have them run the spid codes for you. Its on the RPO code sheet. Otherwise, if you have a RS with rear discs like someone else mentioned, then you might have something especially if there is a TPI under the hood.
hey i gave u my vin awhile back i just wanted to know how u was coming along theres alot u guys on here i'm here in tooele, utah and i've never evan seen another 91 or 92 b4c u guys probably wouldn't like me for what i have done to mine with the ram air hood and the 92 z28 hi rise fins. if u could let me know where my car was originally i was told i had a colorado cop car but i don't know if thats true or not. any one around tooele utah get ahold of me lets go terrorize.

I didn't know McDorman's had a show in September. I have the little sister red B4C of yours sold at McDormans, 305 five speed. Finally got around to changing the intake manifold gasket set. I forgot how much I loved driving the car. Still have only 25,100 miles on it. Only B4C owners know the smile you get when you drive one. Are you back in Ohio now or still in Delaware?
