Looking for any and all VINS for the 1991 and 1992 B4C's. Still working the ongoing research. Thx. Please post full vin. This is for research only to determine how the cars were optioned.
Ultimate goal is to determine how many 5spds vs auto's. Thanks for your help!!!!!!

Because not all 589 people that own them come to this site. A buddy and I are trying to catalog every one of them in hopes of telling how many were 5spd, auto, black w/ black interior, etc etc etc. Cant do this without vin numbers.
Dont worry, no one can scam you from your vin number or else they would not be put in plain site.
Car is ex RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) - just wondering, does anyone know if the widely quoted 589 B4C production number from 92 includes Z49 GM Canada ordered cars, or is that a US only figure?
The only problem I see with this is that I bet half the people out there who have a B4C car either don't know it, or they don't realize what they have.
I promised to get this vin over a year ago and hear it is.
Car is in Oklahoma right now but had Texas tags so i guess it was a Texas highway patrol car or dps car.It was a teal blue car with spotlight on the driver side
heres the info

it even still has roll bar in it as well as the siren speaker undernieth (hooked to nothing) and the special "dual speedo unit" with both a old style cable for the radar unit calibration(hooked to nothing but still run inside the car) and wires for the speedo.
if needed I could take a pic of the option sticker
No agency would crush them after use. That is a source of income to purchase more vehicles year after year. The wrecked ones normally went to salvage yards or they would sell them at auction too.
I might try to do a local search in my state for B4C's for you. Most are likely here in town others may be in Casper or Green River. I could search by1991 and 1992 350 vin letter since wyoming and colorado only had 350 models
Thanks for the help Tom. I would guess that Wyoming had less than 20 of them and Colorado too. The believe the 5 spds were sold to TX, Nevada, Nebraska, and North of the border in Canada. I am working other agencies that I know that had them and working to see if they have the old records and how many they bought. If they still have the vins, that would be awesome.
Well I know of one other 91 B4C from a guy that works at the highway dept and a girl that has one (I dont know what year or state hers was from) but some other colorado one ended up here, Maybe over at "Wyotech" automotive tade school over in Laramie. I also believe colorado had more than 20
B4C 1LE 305/5sp. Still has the twin spots and TxDPS asset tag in the driver's door jamb.
Originally black and white (plan to restore it to factory colors), now metallic blue. Gray interior, gray carpet. Manual windows, AM/FM stereo, cruise control, working A/C, tilt wheel. I think that is about all the options. The car spent some time being driven by Texas A&M students after retirement.

I never watched the show, but a dealer in Dallas had for sale a "Walker Texas Ranger" Camaro...don't recall what year it was, but it had an interesting history according to the dealer, and was supposed to be a B4C. Should be ez enough to check if you have connections in Hollywood
