ZF Anyone?

I thought this was pretty cool. Not a real car, but the rareness factor outweighs that!

your right... lol

It is def. ugly, but I guess I'm the type of person who'd be dumb enough to buy it just cause it's rare... but that's me.

What one considers rare is a matter of opinion. I made a lamp in wood shop when I was a kid. It's "one of a kind", but nobody else but me is ever going to consider it rare or want it. The fact that some dealer added "ZF" stickers to that car doesn't make it any more rare or desireable in my opinion. It's just another old beat up base model Camaro.

If I go out and special order 10 identical Camaro's, and add vinyl graphics, chrome wheels, and some stupid bolt on, someone will probably think it would be worth more money in 10 years. Surely there would be some idiot saying "It's one of 10!".

The only problem I see, is it's just a Z28 emblem with the last leg of the 2 and the 8 taken off. I'm sure that's what they did to identify it. Cheap since they probably had those in stock. So all I see is a dealer installing a sunroof.

I see the similarities, but how exactly do you think they made this.....

from this????????

Looks cheap, but not as cheap as cutting up factory emblems.....ZF was just another 80's dealer package.....

Re: ZF Anyone?

was a dealer ordered add on,, but was preformed by ASC same as the camaro convertibles..only difference is the converts got factory RPO...an yes before you ask i do have proof..my 84 ZF lists ship to ASC and their address on the build sheet and the original invoice...and no the emblems are NOT cut and pasted Z28 emblems..they are actually quite nicely cut emblem in person..
