Iroc-Z Sticker Colors

My 88 iroc is the dark maroon color with the red iroc stickers and plain grey rims. I have seen dark maroon 88 irocs with gold iroc stickers and gold accent rims. Is the only difference in the sticker color or did the different color stickers mean something more also?

The gold stickers and rims were part of the "Gold" package. The interior was usually tan, but I can't guarantee that "all" gold packaged cars had tan interior. Keep the red. If I wasn't keeping my car all original, I'd swap the decals to the red. I think it looks really nice like that.

Typically, the gold also meant you were a little sexier than those "other" folks!!!

...Nah, gold was just a color.

I happen to REALLY like the red on maroon!

Well that's what I keep telling myself as to why I should keep the gold on my IROC. lol. I can't really stand the gold. But it dose look good on the black car with tan interior. Plus I want to keep it stock looking. Come to think of it. I haven't seen too many cars with the gold. Adam :-)

It's easier to make a 3rd gen fast than it is to make a 4th gen look good.

Originally, I wanted the tan/Beechwood interior, but not the gold decals and wheel accents. The interior was more important, so I settled for the wheels and accents. Over time, I've really grown to love the gold, and the fact that they're just not all that common make it even better!!!
