Re: Bandit II questions?

I glanced through most of this thread. A search will pull up plenty of information since these cars have been discussed before. The long and short version is that these were base model Firebirds, sent out to be modified by an aftermarket company. As far as which parts/features are correct, it's anyones guess since it wasn't an official GM package. The cars typically seem like base Firebirds, with either the factory GFX or an aftermarket package. As for collector interest and value, I wouldn't expect much. Any serious 82-92 Fbody enthusiast is going to know it wasn't a real GM offering, and it did nothing for performance, it's all cosmetic. They're probably worth more then a base Firebird, but less then a Formula or a Trans Am since both of those offer improved performance over a base Firebird.

Re: Bandit II questions?

I've seen the bandit II's plenty of times in the last 10 years. Every single one was a 305tbi
Most in the 4-6K range.

Re: Bandit II questions?

Well, this one I posted pics of on here sold a while back to a T/A collector. He already has a 1993? Rockingham T/A pace car from the track- still has the pace lights and all dealer documentation from where it was modded to use as the pace car, a 10th Anniversary, and a 1978 T/A to keep this one company. To go back to Tanks original thread about value of these cars, this one was a T/A (not a base Firebird) and the $16k asking price was close to the actual sale price. It will make an appearance at the Nats again this year with its new owners.

Re: Bandit II questions?

This car has it- all the papers are with the new owners now. I had a pic of the Choo-Choo Customs paperwork listed on the ad for this car. I deleted those pics after it sold.
