No need to restore this?

Wow, this one would be 100% if not for the holes in the front bumper for the license plate. Add the TPI and it would be a steal at that price compared to today's money and what is available. Andrew

Here's a link... It's easier than going to ebay and doing a search for that item number.

Ebay Link to the item he's referring to.

Re: No need to restore this?

How bout some more back story. Logically the car was stored after purchase, never to be driven again. So 12k for all org pic perfect car, even though it's lo3...................

Re: No need to restore this?

It looks great.....but does not merit a 17K buy it price. The LO3 hurts the value. And the mileage is the only reason its worth much at all.

Re: No need to restore this?

why the hell would u buy a car and only put 312 miles on it? if it was even 30,000 miles, id still pay for the price of 312 miles

Re: No need to restore this?

Could be many things... Ultimately I agree if it was a TPI or better a L98 car it would have sold already...

Re: No need to restore this?

Even if the car had the LB9 i think it would sell better (a 350 would be ideal) but none the less a super clean car, but i dont know if i would wanna car with that little mileage i use my toys to often for that lol

Re: No need to restore this?

I saw that car listed awhile ago, it was bought by a farming family (an impulse buy) and then they never got to drive it because of the farm so they just stored it away in a garage.

one thing that I noticed is there is what looks to be primer overspray on the weatherstripping in the 12th picture down

Re: No need to restore this?

Sorry to all the negatives, but it is a new third gen and if I had the money it would be happily in my garage. Why rant on a Formula, the rest of the auto world rants on us with these. Carb or TPI it is still a jewel. Andrew

Re: No need to restore this?

It was also on autotrader a while back for 22k. Its a nice original find.

One that my dad Almost bought 3-4 years ago was a 1991 Rs with 53 original miles on it. it had a 305, 5 speed posi, and it was the second owner i think.
and it sold for a hair under 13k
