The ad says its a 1986 Trans Am Firehawk. I always thought, and my research has shown, that the Firehawks didn't show up until about 1992-ish. The ad says it is one of 26 built and it was originally equipped with a TPI 305.
Does this sound weird to you guys? Is there actually an incredibly rare 1986 Firehawk, or is this guy trying to pass off something that isn't real?
Discuss! lol.

BS....The only Firehawks were Firebird conversions made by SLP in 1992 and they were a limited run. One reason for there failure in the market place was the HIGH price of $30k +.

Yep, the dude either doesn't know better or he is trying to sucker some chump into buying it.
It's like somebody trying to sell an 84 IROC. Doesn't exist.

Usually its the rare (read:nonexistant) 1986 GTA. Firehawk... thats a new one.
A Firehawk, thirdgen, is going to be a 91 or 92, and a Formula. The likeliness of it being the only Trans Am Firehawk built is... well, it wont be. And surely not a 1986 model.
Just for the record---they did build 1 Trans Am Firehawk---a 92 Vert
And what a beauty that car is. Does Milt still own that one?

Actually he is close to his number, 25 was the Official number. his would make 26 IF it was a REAL firehawk... Unfortunately he does not have any pix of his Engine which really was the braun to the whole operation, without it its a typical Firebird Trans Am with Firehawk centercaps.
Its funny that a car that would be that rare would have stripes on some of the panels and no stripes on other panels. Its too bad there is no way to sue these idiots for Fraud.
