^ What makes it worse, is I think they crushed it when all was said and done. Try not to pay attention to those guys, just admire the piece of automotive history....

Really? Swivel radio, and digital cluster for '84 isn't considered rare for an '84 LG4 Camaro? I honestly never seen one of these, in fact, I had no idea that these options were available back then (were they banned from the east coast lol?). Not sure about the notchback though (if it's factory, or aftermarket), I'll wait for John to chime in about that. In any event though, not something you see everyday, that's for sure....

Depends on your definition of "rare". I think mine is fairly rare, but there are still 3 '92 verts in my town. Kinda strange for a town with a population of only 8,000. But I have the only red one with leather around here. One of the others is a really nice light jade metallic (even more rare) and the third is a black POS driven by a skank ho named Tonya that has no idea that her car is worth more than her toothless boyfriend's pro street 75 Camaro with the orig. weak-a$$ smogger motor. She wears those jeans with the laces up the sides and has bleached hair teased high enough to rub the headliner ... but I have to admit it works for her.

Ya',..... It's a Berlinetta all right. The notchback was something added to the car sometime during it's lifespan. It's NOT a factory part. When it come to being "rare" - it's really not. There were about 51 thousand Digital Berlinettas made over it's 2 1/2 year production run with the "rarest" being made in 86 when about 4500 were made 'cause they quit producing them a couple months into the year.
In general terms,..... they were "rare" compared to the Coupe, RS, Z28 and IROCs. There are MANY people that stop to check out my Berlinettas telling me that "I used to have one of these" as they walk up to the car; until they look inside and then say " I've never seen that before" !
Re: Very Strange Optioned Out '84 Camaro, LQQK....!
^ Thanks John. I have to admit, what grabbed my attention was when he first pulled off of the tow truck, and the notchback suddenly became prevalent. What threw me off was when they said it was still the factory paint, notchback included. Still, it was entertaining. Although it might not be rare, from a production perspective, it sure was nice to watch though....

The Notchback appears to be the C&C version at a glance. I did not watch the whole thing as it was more boring than anything... Something about two guys looking at a trashed Berlinetta was not really interesting... Apparently they intended to put this lame video on utube.. I think I had the look on my face like the people in the above picture (which is boarderline inappropriate) BTW.
Rare is cars which there were less than 100 made.
Uncommon is less than 1000 cars made.

Okay, I feel much better now that I know they aren't too rare. I saw an '86 in the junkyard yesterday with the digital dash and the swivel radio, and I'd never seen anything like it before. That's why I checked here. On an odd note, the swivel radio had a CD player screwed to the top of it. Functional I guess, but trashy as hell.
Re: Very Strange Optioned Out '84 Camaro, LQQK....!
From that it does not appear to be a C&C, the brochure I have does not show the louvers... Of course they could have been added by a creative owner, I suspect its someone elses hatch...

I enjoyed (not the right word) no lets say I was interested in the 1st video. Actually, I like the viewer comments. Who the hell are these guys and what happened to the car?
