Installing GM Steering Wheel

Around 2001, I replaced my 88 IROC's original GM steering wheel with a Grant GT. Regrettably, the wife pitched the GM wheel even though I had stowed it away.

I have ordered a re-wrapped wheel & horn button from Chuck Pelton. Will I have any issues having the wheel installed? I'm concerned that the mounting was changed when the GT was installed and a part I may need was also pitched by the wife.

Re: Installing GM Steering Wheel

I ordered a steering wheel from Chuck Pelton for my vette I used to own. He sells good steering wheels. Too bad you don't have your old one to exchange with him after he sends you a newly refurbished one. He does good work. There shouldn't be any issues. I didn't have any when I replaced mine.
