No pics or anything, but I was wondering what a "MSE" Trans-am looked like. I know i should have searched but i figured I'd share it with anyone in VA.

What is interesting, is that the one you found is #47. The link I gave is #48 & he says 2 red ones were there & he chose #48. Maybe the other red one was #47? The one you found for sale?
I'd say that's a good buy if the original MSE specific items are still on the car.
I thought I read somewhere that only 9 of them in '82 were red. Can anybody verify that?

In the link I posted, it says 10......
"According to Mecham Racing, only 500 1982 MSE Trans Am were built. Of those, less then 10 were red in color. The remaining cars were all white in color, matching the actual race car."
I dont have any pics, but I can put them up soon. Like you said, it is a 1982 M.S.E. These are very rare with 500 ever made for the streets. Less than 10 of them were originally red in color, as this one once was. Unfortunantly, It was repainted at some point, and repainted very poorly. But the engine does run well. It's body is in very good shape, and it has no rust, except for some surface rust underneath. There are quite a few cosmetic issues that I will need to handle, but it should turn out to be quite a good project.

Let me know if the link works ok and shows our pics as we brought it home. We will update as the project car progresses. May need help as we go!
Haha, a second red 82 is spoken for. Eight more to find! Cameron H has another red 82, he's a big MSE guy. Now only seven left.
