Were third gens available w/ cruise control on the manual trannys? If so, for all engines? Also, if so, did they have a disconnect for the clutch pedal or just the brake?
thanks!

Yes. Wouldn't see why not. IIRC, both.

Re: cruise control w/ 5 speed manual tranny offered?
i asked because i think there were some early 80's cars that didtn offer cruise w/ manual because they considered it a conflict. I cant tell if my '86 was supposed to have it or not. I havent been able to identify the cruise servo yet, but it looks like there might originally been cruise selector on the column. hard to tell though, because this car was stolen at some point and the stalk controls are a little messed up. I also remember that my dads '83 Berlinetta 5-speed that i drove in high school had most options available, but no cruise control.
On my '93 Jeep grand cherokee (rare 5 speed), it has cruise, but it does not disengage with the clutch, just the brake, so when down shifting on hills i have to remeber to turn off the cruise before i shift or it bounces of the rev limiter when i push the cluch pedal.
Re: cruise control w/ 5 speed manual tranny offered?
I don't believe there was any sort of conflict. Many 3rd gens of all years had cruise (my '89 has it).
Out of 192,219 Camaros built in 1986, 106,431 had cruise control, RPO K34. I don't believe it mattered if you had manual or auto, but if the car was simply ordered with the $175 option or not.
Re: cruise control w/ 5 speed manual tranny offered?
Cruise control was available on 3rd-gens with manual trans from the beginning in '82. There is a disengage switch on the brake as well as the clutch pedal. Diagrams are in the factory service manual.
You couldn't get cruise on 1st and 2nd-gens with manual trans as the cruise control wiring harness uses the same hole in the firewall as the clutch pedal linkage.
