This invoice has central office on the top of the page. It's a rare 1985 G92 IROC. Could the reason there were only 205 made be that it had to be ordered through the central office?

Does anyone else have a 1985 invoice that isn't from the central office? Note the 1LE rear springs on the spid 8NN 9NN. I found this 1985 L69 IROC invoice and it is from the central office. Looks like they were ordered through the Central office. I think it's odd the gear ratio isn't on either invoice.

Notice on this sticker for a 1985 IROC with the GU6 performance axle it says GU6 optional performance axle 3.42 and optional axle limited slip and J65. But it dosn't show G92.

Don't know if it means anything , but when I ordered my car (that's my invoice in the first post) I actually ordered it through my uncle because of his discount, he was an executive at the time at the GM tech center in Warren MI.

yo soy el warg,Thanks for posting that. I would like to see your window sticker, does it have the axle ratio on it? 89RESTO, please post your window sticker when you find it. Can you ask your uncle if remembers anything about ordering your G92? Like if he had to order the G80 posi and J65 4 wheel disc brakes to get the G92 performance axle.

I did the ordering of all the options, he just went with me to the dealership and signed all the paperwork. All I remember was I was a young kid at the time and I wanted all the go fast goodies. I remember going over the options list and just telling the sales woman I want that, that, that, etc... I originally ordered the blue metalic , but went back the next day and changed it to black. The only two things I wanted but couldn't get were the manual trans with the tpi and the blue strips with the LS interior. If it's true that this is one of 205 irocs with G92 , It was pure accidental on my part.

How much would an all original, no accident, LB9,M5,G92 1990 IROC-Z be worth? Clean carfax, 1 year only paint color 75? 170,000 miles. Really good condition near mint interior, true survivor!
We have no idea! What you consider mint, I can guarantee you I wouldn't because I am that picky. Based on that, it's difficult to say without seeing the car in person and being able to look it over from top to bottom. The miles alone are going to put me in the $4000 or less range, sight unseen!

I know that my 1985 1C5 "California" Iroc-Z has the same code 75 paint color. So It must be "2 years only paint color 75", if it's the same code 75 paint color for the Iroc-z cars in 1985. As far as the other features the car has it isn't very common for 1990.
You also have a 1 year only color for 1985 Iroc-z it shares the same paint code as my 90 but it's called blaze red. Then flame red and bright red ran until 1989, and in 1990 bright red and brilliant red were the choices of red. 1990 75 brilliant red is similar to paint code 74 flame red metallic but not as purple. Brilliant red ran from 1990 to 1992, but 1990 was the last year for Iroc. I know they only made 295 with that motor, trans and rear combo.
Im a picky guy too! I have a frame off restored 68 thats "MINT" but what the Iroc is really just an original car in great shape for its age. Well when I bought the car I've looked for a 90 lb9 m5 g92 for 2 years believe it or not until I found it 4 hours away! paid 3300 and drove it 4 hours home that day! Well for that price and a car that G.M. only made 295 of I guess it's good enough! I just use it to rip around town anyway.
