| Re: NOS GM Carpet NOS carpet is always good score if you can find it. Aftermarket replacement carpet (even the supposedly "high quality" stuff sold by many popular parts houses) just isn't as good in my experience.
Most of the replacement carpet I've seen is less dense than the original, and the pile is slightly different. The quality just doesn't seem to be there, especially for a nice car. Nothing like paying for new carpet and then being able to see the backing through the pile...
