i cant tell, whats that on the sides of the console? its not carpet
what you see is the bare plastic that is the console without any carpet on it. my 85 came stock that way too. it has the base interior and roll up windows.

Lol, I can tell you it would be ALLOT lower than that! That's a ton of miles for a car that people would just stash away. I can promise you there are atleast half a dozen sub 100 miles examples out there, always are...

Well they should get 'em out and let us play with them..
Yeah, there's definitely a few out there with less mileage than that. However, 1900 miles is still very low. I wish my 1LE had 1900 miles on it. (Mine has 47k.)

i really like how that looks. much better than carpet. i'd like mine to look that way
Most 1LEs had the base interior, but not all (like mine).
As far as this being the lowest mileage, it's definitely not...I know there is an infrequent member of this board who has a '92 teal 1LE with 1,200 miles. He's had it on Ebay trying to sell it off and on for months.
There is also at least one (I think it's a '91) owned by a Chevy dealer in Indiana, still wrapped in plastic with less than 100 miles on it. It was for sale as recently as last year for around $60K.

Wasn't there a 1LE with something like 45 miles or 70 miles??? Dealer was asking a similar price as the $4500

For historical and possibly to help the seller without him knowing, here are the pictures of the car in the ad.

1,900 ORIGINAL MILES!
Chevrolet built a total of 111 "1le" special performance components package Camaros for the '89 model year -- targeted for the SCCA showroom stock racing series. To get the "1le" package took some doing! An IROC Coupe had to be ordered with the "g92" performance axle and air conditioning had to be deleted. This then triggered the "1le" option and included an aluminum drive shaft, larger front brakes from the Corvette, fuel tank baffles, specific front and rear shocks and different jounce bumpers. Furthermore, fog lamps were deleted for weight savings and better airflow to the radiator. The "g92" axle also forced an engine oil cooler, 4 wheel disc brakes, dual converter exhaust and p245/50zr16 tires
