I've made good progress on the 6-speed sticker and should have it completed this evening. I'll post it for your review and then send a PM to everyone that wanted one.
Can you make the white part in yellow?
I have a 1990 IROC,and most the interior graphics is a light yellow color.
Thanks,
Tommy
Which one do you like? These are color tests and not the final product. Also, it seems that the computer/ or my digital camera makes the colors brighter than they really are.
I would like to get one from you if you still have them available... It would be with the yellow graphics since I have a 1992 RS with the 5 speed shifter plate...
Send me your Paypal address and I will send you the money there..
My email address is 'elszroc@yahoo.com'....
Still available, if I get more interest I can just make more. It's only economical to make a whole sheet instead of just one sticker, but since people are requesting the yellow now I'll get some ready.

Yes, send me your paypal account number. I want the brighter yellow one.
Thanks,

You make these yourself? how much would it be to print out a custom one, I don't have anything in mind right now, but this could seriously get creative. I'm thinking maybe a black on cream background, like the old hurst knobs, thats what i've got atm.
Whatever you can dream up can be created. The problem is cost. The vinyl is cheap but the ink and time gets expensive. Are you asking for a T5 or T56 with black numbers and a cream background?

T5 black numbers/lines on a cream background. maybe i'll come up with something more creative. maybe throw the Z/28 logo on there or something i dunno.
Hi, I would be interested in a 6 speed logo, either the standard white/black or if its cheap enough to do custom, a 6 spd logo with silver numbers instead of white, and a small "Trans Am" below it.? Also in silver. my email is tekudla@buffalo.edu
thanks,
tim

Do you mean the word "Trans Am" ? You also have to remember that these are the exact size of the pattern plate which is only 1.25 X 1.25 inches. So anything small is going to be just that, small. How about a firebird behind the shift pattern?
What if you made the 1 3 5/2 4 R in like a different font? maybe try somethings like this?
1 3 5
2 4 R
(Font: Algerian Bold)
Maybe you can ghost in the word Camaro between the numbers or under them? also, what if you made a vinyl to go on the plate next to the shift indicator? theres a big empty space. would it even stick because its kinda bumpy? for the word camaro I'm thinking using this?
Camaro
(font: Vladimir Script)
Check it out, see what you can do.

That didnt work out as I had planned. lemme try again, sorry for the many posts.
1 3 5 2 4 R
Sizing up the camaro failed miserably, the "Camaro" looks alot like this: http://fyi.gmblogs.com/images/black_logo_081006.jpg
when the right font is applied, apparently the forums don't support it.
Hell, maybe you can just paste that pic in there.

I was screwing around with this. I can make the firebird all silver/black. Just an idea for now.
Yeah, basically thats correct, but ghosting takes alot of creative pixel work or some really special computer assisted drawing (CAD) programs.
Why don't you just change the colour? like, if make a really dark grey ontop of a black and it would look ghosted. then slap the white ontop. or is it all one layer? in which case anything would be rather difficult. can you put images on there?
F-Body_Fetish, did you just change your avatar? I liked the Pontiac chief. I was thinking that would have made a cool shift plate.
Yeah, i did. I had the cheif on there originally because of my dads '47 pontiac. I don't really have any pics of my car to put there or anything creative so i was trying some stuff out. I've yet to make a signature, dunno if i'll do it.

Thats the long way around but certainly possible. And yes, images are also possible. I'll work on the ghosting and come up with an idea, but like I said before, these things are pretty small 1.25 X 1.25 inches. You might not even be able to see the ghosted pattern enough to make it worth while.

I guess its all attention to detail right? one of those things that nobody really sees unless they pay close attention. whatever, i'm just trying to be creative. what about that idea for a camaro logo to fill in the space to the right of the indicator? if its just a picture, you could just print it off no?
