I have an ALDL Cable in great condition for sell the serial port type. It was given to me as a part of a trade awhile back. I would use it back my labtop only has the usb connection.
OBD I 12pin connector

You can use programs like datamasters, free scan, tuner pro. Just to name a few.
Some of these you can download for free.

I was thinking about doing so but I heard of people having connectivity issues with the usb to serial port adapter. So I just wanted to buy a complete usb cable.
