Re: Parting out 88 GTA 5.7 with MINT BLACK INTERIOR
Hi, I'm having some problems contacting you so please forgive me if you have already received a message from me! I'm interested in the steering wheel radio controls if they work. I don't need the entire column just the control pad and the cancelling cam under the steering wheel. If you prefer i could take the entire column. my e-mail tom-sarah@buchananbeer.com
Re: Parting out 88 GTA 5.7 with MINT BLACK INTERIOR
Do you still have the whole complete cruise control kit setup inlcuding the switch? I dont have cruise control in my car and would like to install all of the setup with the cruise control.
Where are you located? If you are in the Toronto area I can stop by to pick it up this weekend or Friday?

Re: Parting out 88 GTA 5.7 with MINT BLACK INTERIOR
Hey, I do have the 87 steering wheel, it's actually on my wall in the basement, but the leather is torn (not ripped like the 88/89 wheels) I wouldn't recommend that one to be in your car. I might have another 87 wheel in the next 2 weeks but can't tell how it looks yet.
Thanks for now,

Re: Parting out 88 GTA 5.7 with MINT BLACK INTERIOR
Yes, I still have a digital dash. For everyone that is interested, I did the swap already twice, if anybody is interested in putting a digital dash into an "analog" car, PLEASE BE AWARE, it's not only swapping the instrument panel. There's a lot of parts, including a COMPLETE dashboard (not the cover that cracks so often), light harness, interior harness, door locks and much more involved, you can't just buy a digital cluster off ebay and throw it into your car, this won't work. I have all the parts but shipping is usually in the $150 range. I'm in the Toronto, Canada area and once in a while I'm in NY State and Pennsylvania if that helps. For everybody that just plans on having his digital dash fixed or replaced, this is usually very easy. Write me what exactly is wrong with your dash and I might be able to help without any $$$ or parts involved.
Thanks.
Re: Parting out 88 GTA 5.7 with MINT BLACK INTERIOR
My car has a Digital Dash installed from factory. Everything works fine. It's just the looks of it that's bad. It's kind of melted because it was parked under the sun for over a year. I don't know if the "outer layer" of plastic can be replaced. What do you think? Or how much for a digital dash? Just where the speedo and gages are located. The diagnostics center is fine.
