Parting out 1983 Firebird
I am parting out a clean 1983 I hate to chop it up but I need to get it out of the driveway . Body is almost perfect. The driver door is shot but the passenger side door is solid and there is one rust bubble on driver side 1/4 panel. Interior is very clean. No tears in the seats. Couple of stains in the seats but they can easily be cleaned. Prices are as follows:
Blue interior panels / blue rear seat
Gauge cluster $20
located in Hatboro,Pa

Sounds like the car is a relatively easy project. If you don't have any room for it you could always put it in the firebird classifieds board.
But if you do decide to part it out, I would be interested in the dash pad.
EDIT: I see you have this listed as a roller on the board classifieds, didn't notice it earlier. GLWS

Is the gear shifter mechanism the factory original? I need one for my 1983. It was a one year only design to fit the factory T-handle. I know the shifter button isn't original, just hoping the shaft is....
If it's original, let me know how much you want shipped to 16001.
Thanks
Joe

I don't know if it is the original shifter or not. It is definitely an older shifter. It does not have a shifter button that just comes off once you remove the clip out of the handle. I can't even figure out how to get it off. How can I tell if it is the original shifter?

Honestly I don't know how to tell. It has to do with the indents on the shaft itself.
I'd take a chance on it for $20 plus shipping if you are interested.

Re: Parting out 1983 Firebird
Hi I need a heater/ac blender door cable. They are color coded for length. The one I need has a red plastic clip at one end. Thanks, Charles
