I have an 84 chevy berlinetta camaro... it has the electronic cluster, and the speedo and tach are dead... It has the v8 in it, but i can only find a v6 cluster... does anyone have a v8 cluster, know where i can get one, or know if the v6 cluster will work in it? thx

Everything on the V6 Cluster will work in your V8 car, with one exception,..... The Tachometer will not show the correct RPM reading. If you want the tach to be correct than you MUST use the correct replacement cluster. If your car is a V8 than you must use a V8 dash cluster. If your car is a V6 than you need to use a V6 dash cluster. ( V8 clusters show a 4400 RPM 'Yellow line' on the "bar graph" Digital Tachometer. )
The odometer reading can be corrected to match your cars actual mileage too, but care must be taken when playing around inside the cluster. I've got replacement clusters too......... Send me a PM if you need any other info !
