Wanted:Doeskin seatbelt receivers from 84 Firebird

I need just the receiver seat belt, both sides, from a 1984 Firebird in doeskin. Other years are the wrong color. Plastic sleeves must be intack, no cracks. If the buttons don't work I can repair them.
Thanks!

Chris

I did see them, but I thought $155 for just a pair of receivers were a bit high. I bought my whole set for $150, and the only thing wrong is one of the receivers' sleeves is cracked. I also replaced the buttons to make them look new. But everything else is minty fresh (did I really just say that?)

your best bet is probably to have your sleeves painted then. finding anything in doeskin is next to impossible and when you do it's almost always faded, broken, etc...
i took all my interior to a local upholstery shop to get repainted. the guy had a real bitch of a time finding a matching color. i think he said he used some mercedes color - it's not exactly perfect, but pretty close. he only charged me about $500 to repaint all the parts and install new carpet inserts on the panels. looks good.

Re: Wanted:Doeskin seatbelt receivers from 84 Firebird

My sleeves are doeskin, but cracked. The front receivers that came with the car are probably not original to '84, as they don't have sleeves and the webbing is gray.
I have used paint that I got on the internet for some small plastic pieces and they look pretty good, just a shade lighter than original, but since they are small, it's not noticeable. I also used Bulldog Primer so they don't scratch, and boy, does that work great!!

It looks correct, but with the picture on the right (closeup), the plastic receivers look more mustard, so I can't tell. If they are not from an '84 Firebird or Camaro, they are the wrong color. From '85 and up, they went to a Light Camel color, which is different than Medium Doeskin, which is what they used from '82-84.
If they are from 1984, then how much would you like for them, because they look like they are in nice shape. I also noticed the buttons have been replaced.
