OK, so here's a new idea. It seems that almost all the seat belt receivers have cracked sleeves. Mine, although completely original and from a 1984 Firebird, have the correct doeskin sleeve (cracked) but a DARK GRAY webbing inside, so I can't use them.
If anyone has front seatbelt receivers with the correct color webbing, I don't care if the sleeve is cracked. I will take off the sleeves and just use the webbing and buckle. The buckle needs to be correct for a 1984 Firebird or Camaro.
So, please, if anyone has these, please let me know.
Thanks!
Nope and I’m getting pissed at the post office. They say they cant do anything about it for 30 days and sense I didn’t buy insurance they cant do anything but reimburse me for the shipping cost. I will be picking up a 86 TA with tan interior in a couple of days. The belts looked good in the pictures the guy sent me.
Dave,
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you looking out for me. These receivers have been a real pain for me to try and find. I would gladly use just the web without the sleeves if I could find the correct color that would match the belts I already have, and have the correct buckle on them. But, like everyone says, the webs inside the sleeves never seem to be the correct color.
Thanks again and keep in touch. I hound my postman every day for a box!
Chris

Post a photo of the color. I have a pile of receivers with 2 colors of tan. Not shure of year they were removed from. With a good clear photo I may be able to match it up.

OK, well, I don't have a picture of mine right now, but Perrypam is on ebay selling the exact ones I need, so here's a picture of them:
Basically, they are the lightest tan they made, so if you have a bunch, just pick out the lightest of them. Do you have a picture of what you have?
