Firebird HVAC controls in a Camaro?

Does anyone know if the Firebird HVAC controls will bolt up in a camaro? Are all the wiring and vacuum connections the same? I've always thought the Firebird controls looked a hell of a lot better than the Camaro's. And the poor backlighting bugs me. What about the trim piece? Will it still fit?

Thanks for any help.

It is a direct bolt/wire in.
The camaro trim will cover part of the 'cold~hot' on the bottom. And IIRC one of the fan speed numbers.
Note also, the orange backlighting color is 'painted' (silkscreened really I guess) on the faceplate.. it's not the bulb making it that color (orange or amber if you like).
There is something about the actual bulbs between the two I am forgetting as well.

Thanks deadbird! Yeah I know from reading other posts that the camaro controls have a single 194 bulb and the firebird controls have 3 smaller bulbs (don't remember the bulb number). Does anyone have a picture showing the orange backlighting? Is there any way to change the color?

I have a blue LED behind the yellow lettering of mine in my 92 RS. Lights up blue (almost green) at night, but still appears yellow in the daytime. I would think it should work similar for the Firebird controller.
