here goes the list.....
custom carpet with z28 custom fit embroidered mats, z24 high bulster seats, leds in every vent, 24in neon for the rear, rear seat delete with 2 6.5in sony xplodes, leds projecting on rear seat delete, 2- 10in pioneer subs in a custom made box that fits in the well, full custom crushed velvet interior on the head liner and all rear plastic, chevy symbol embosed in the custom sun visors, white back guages and shifter and HVAC, black light for the guages, led interior light swap
thats a start lol
i wished i had better pix but im about 3 hours away from my baby right now
Ibought the same gauges from a guy on ebay, but when i got them the speedo didnt match up quite right, i had the 145 mph speedo though, when it was going 140 the gauge lined up to the needle at 125. he obviously didnt print the right scale to the overlays. also even with lights or leds behind them they didnt look very good at night, and i didnt want to go the approach of lighting in front of them. So i ended up buying these luminescent gauges that glow very nicely, comes with color selector and dimmer too. see pics
Thi is my red on red car , the interior is matching RED (look the center console vents).
I know , this steering wheel sucks , look ugly ,blah blah blah , it says in the horn button something like "NARDI TORINO" , wtf is that ? , what aftermarket brand is that ?

...............almost finished the console. cant decide if i want to leave the vents on or off it, 1 side is with and 1 without for a comparison. i sort of like the way it looks without em.
Is that metal or just painted? I threw the idea around of putting metal over my console like that but figured it may get dented/scratched or even cut me

its just chrome trim spray. i taped off the edges and sprayed them.then clear coated.ive seen some others that gave me the idea.see pics. . sheet metal would probably be a hazard.lol you can get the woodgrain dash kits in other colors though, theres a whole palette of colors they sell.i just like the sprayed look better then them, i had some and they started to peel.
Powermite's interior is the nicest I've ever seen in a third gen:
Of course third geners are dreadfully disappointing when it comes to any kind of customization. About as far as their imagination reaches is usually some rattle can, or a 4th gen interior.

That is a really nice interior!
Do you have any more pics of that interior to post?

I suppose a few pieces of cut polished steel , aftermarket shifter ,aftermarket steering wheel and chrome rings around the gauges is the topping the charts of creativeness in your mind?
No offense to his interior it does look nice but your comment made no sense.
Just finished putting mine in yesterday, 02 Ebony TA seats, Carpet and seatbelts. The top and and sail panels are black, not gray as the pics show though

Powermite's whole CAR is about the nicest I've ever seen. The color is absolutely stunning, the interior is impeccable, and it's just nice work. More Third Geners need to take after him!
Sometimes I feel so RIDICULED when I tell people I'm going back to stock.

My comment makes plenty of sense. Powermite went for elegant and nailed it, and you're comment just supports exactly what I was saying.
Powermite's got hands down the nicest third gen interior I've ever seen, and all it comes down to is some nice custom trim rings he turned down, some custom pieces of polished steel and some nice upholestery and aftermarket pieces to set it all off.
And despite the small number of changes he made, he's got what I feel is the best interior on the site.
If people actually put some time and creativity into their interior they could make some really nice, comfortable interiors with newer features and amenities, but those examples are sorely lacking on this site.
Powermite chose to go with elegance, but I've seen some damn fine, custom interiors in the sport truck scene that put third gen stock interiors to shame.
I understand what you are getting at, and pretty much agree with you. That is just the way it is on here sometimes, a thread that starts out "post some pics of your sexy interior" turns into "Hey, go out and take a random picture of the inside of your car;don't bother cleaning the garbage out of it or taking a vacuum to it or nothing", or someone will start a thread wanting to see pics of nice clean engine bays, but it turns into "Hey, just go outside and take some random pics of your greasy crap and post it up"
Sometimes I check the interior section to see if I can maybe come up with some ideas to TASTEFULLY customize my interior, but rarely find anything. But, I have come across a few that have caught my eye, and as far as Powermite's, I personally would have to rate Karp's TA as a close second, followed by okfoz. Some other honorable mentions I came up with by quickly sorting through this thread(some are near stock looking, but really clean and well restored IMO) would be Ram air'd GTA, compuwiz1937, BADNBLK, gcgarner, kennyglm, and LUVmy92. Just my opinion, though

No my comment simply points out all the things done are a simple or easier to achieve then a few rattle cans or a 4thgen dash swap (which I do have). I agree there are a ton of crap looking interiors on here full of spray paint and other butchered mods. In my opinion so far you can't beat "Shr00ms" interior in terms of clean , stock looking fabrication which takes time and skill to make look right. But then again I may be biased as I like non-stock , stock-looking interior swaps/mods .

Nardi is indeed the brand but Torino is not the model. It stands for the torn of Torino (Italy) where the company is located. Anyway, they do have other steering wheels , some much nicer. I'm thinking about gonig with a 3 or 4 spoke classis line in leather or matbe a "deep corn" suede one myself, they are available in leather and suede, with red stitching and a black center. They are expensive though.
You probably already have the adapter needed so you can probably just buy another nardi wheel and bolt it on.
i call mine clean angry street racing interior lol
just put on new gauge cluster(center vent/heater controls), new 8speaker soundsystem, heater control delete, 6pt cage, 5 point racing harnesses, driver drag seat, and put in new black kick panel carpet TODAY!(was grimy grey like original carpet)
1991 Acura Integra seats. They were from another project that never got off the ground... and they were free.
Just finished recovering the original headliner.
Ahahah sweet bro! I was actually thinking about going the same route as I know lots of people ditching these seats for aftermarket.

Just bought new black front carpet so that and door panels are the last thing to do, here's what i did so far, it looks (almost) like a whole new car! I did the seats last month and the rest all yesterday
hey did that sound deathner help with the road noise? that looks like raamat..can you hear a dif. in the inside now? quiter?
I think so.. I haven't driven maybe 70 miles from when I put it in and I didn't drive much before I put it in. I noticed that all noises appears to come from the leaks around the top now and no where else. I'll probably add a layer of the Ensolite between the top and headliner when I get around to changing tops.

I have to agree that all of the interiors that I've been able to look at this is the nicest GenIII interior that is still "GenIII" and not swapped for GenIV parts. It's simple in design which often at times is the most powerful statement that can be made by the person that put it together. Personally, I'd like to see more pictures of this interior. There are lots of folks that take very good care of their cars and it's evident in the pictures posted in this thread. I can't say much for mine other than it's still pretty much stock looking except the addition of the new Grant steering wheel that thas been added. You can see what my interior looks like on my CarDomain site posted in my siggy. One day I'd like to do a little more with it to truly make it unique and it's threads like these that get the creative juices flowing.

leve the vents on but paint them in collor of sides of your console (As i see form photos sides are light gray) bytheway did you paint sides of cosole or is it leather?
