I apologize if this is an overdone request. I did search the site using every term that I could think of, but didn't find anything on the subject. Seems a bit odd, since I'm that it's a very common problem.
Basically, I want to reattach the armrests that have come loose on my 88 Camaro. They've pulled away from the door panels and don't look good.
So what's the best way to fix this? Is there a particular glue or adhesive I should try?
Thanks for any help.
I've attached a pic of the offending armrests. I'm sorry that they aren't too good. I had to take them at night and quickly before my camera battery died.
Thanks! I apologize for being thick. I've never used that part of the site. I've always found answers in the forums. I'll make sure to always look over there before posting questions.
I have the same exact problem on my 88 IROC. Like the article says that GM changed the adhesives in 88 I think due to stipulations set by EPA although I can't prove that. Thanks for reminding me of the location of that article, I have been looking for it for some time.
I just screwed in new ones for my new door panel on mine today as well. THat top screw can be hard to find (it is long). I have had no prob with them separating.
