If you don't find out soon, I'll let you know as soon as I swap in a 90 column into my 88. It's been too cold these past couple of weeks for me to try installing it.
Will an 89 steering column fit in my non vats 1988? Thanks
It will fit like a glove!

I have installed a 87 column onto a 91 dash housing in the past. When I did this I had to swap the column connector for the wipers. The the correct wires were there - but there were in the wrong sequence on the plug.
I believe the 88 coulmn is the same as the 87 - but I don't know if the 89 is same as the 90-92. Just figured it's something you guys should watch out for before beginng your swap !
