cut a couple of holes in it and you got a cup holder/armrest

yeah, I think theres a tech article on this, its called "plywood door mod/35rwhp gain"....

If you padded the top with 1" foam, and then wrapped it with vinyl, you could probably get it to look decent.

there is room to make it look somewhat good, LOL, maybe with some padding and some leather to match your seats if you have leather.....or a black vinyl/leather ....... suede leather maybe??? ......
even a dark color wood stain and nice mahogany wood, with a nice routered edge to match the 80's
i wonder if anyone has got pics of a custom cover that actually looks neat/good
