Has anybody ever used this stuff?

Permatex Stripped Thread Repair Kit [81668]

While removing the trim piece located between the headliner and the rear hatch, I noticed that 3 out of the 4 screws holding this thing in place were different. When I went to install it with the correct screws, I noticed that 2 of the holes are stripped. Would this stuff be good to use in this situation, or does anybody know of a better way to get this thing installed? Thanks.

For stripped sheet metal screws, I use a piece of plastic ziptie in
the hole to make them bite again...

Gfez is right. Another trick is to find a way to smash the hole flat again. I have never seen that thread repair stuff work on thin metal.
