Help! Loose Tooth Steering Column Repair

Hello,

So I started to re-assemble my steering column after tightening the 4 bolts that were buried. I'm having a problem with the Key Warning Buzzer Switch and Retaining Clip (I believe pictured below). Do both of these parts go together? If so how? If not, where does that Retaining Clip go? The clip fell out with all the moving around.

Any other help, pictures, and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
