Yes, they bolt right in with no mods at all. If you can, get the 4thgen seatbelts too, that way you dont have to cut the seatbelt retainers on the seats. Those bolt right in too. If you can get them for 100.oo get them now as that is a REALLY good price. I have been looking for some ebony leather seats and they are usually around 400.oo.
Hope this helps!

The 3rd gen seat belt retainers will bolt (screws) directly onto 4th gen seats. So if the colors match, or are close, no need to cut your 3rd gen retainers...Just put them on the 4th gen seats.

You will have to modify the rear seat to get it to fit if you have a GTA. The GTA has a split rear seat and the 4th gen was never offered with a split rear option so you will have to cut off the hinge on the inside of both rear seat backs to get the new seat to fit.

Can you explain this in some greater detail? I am going to replace the seats in my GTA with seats from a 2002 TA and want the transition to go as smoothly as possible. Anyone happen to have some pics of what needs to be cut?

Unbolt the old, bolt i the new...Direct swaps.
Only issue if you get 4th gen power seats & hafta wire them into the 3rd gen wiring.

there is no need to cut the bottom hinge, the hinge will not affect the upholstery on you 4th gen rears. the quickest way to remove the split rears is to spray some lube on the hinge and from there is quick slip and slide

Installed 2002 Trans Am seats in my 88. Had no issues with the rear split seat bracket. I left the brackets on the car incase someone wants to restore it in the future.
I put some new carpet in and installed the rear seats. It looks great and you cant even tell the bracket is hiding under there.
