has ANYONE recovered door panels in 4th gen fabric to match 4th gen seats???

If so where did you purchase it? I have the 1997 style firebird seats in my 88, and wanted to recover my door panels to match.

I'm changing my door panels to flat style btw

Thanks

Here is the charcoal fabric from the madrid series, not sure if that's it

The gray deluxe panels i have actually already have a very similar gray material to the seats your showing, and if i'm not mistaken...the gray flat door panels have almost identical material with a two tone of whats on the back of the back seat.

Re: has ANYONE recovered door panels in 4th gen fabric to match 4th gen seats???

I'm trying to do the same thing with the material on my 4th gen seats, I contacted this company and they are sending me samples and prices, give them a try I found them from someone else's post on here http://www.smsautofabrics.com/

This is what I'm trying to match (I want to match the light gray for the accent panels on the door and change the vinyl/plastics to charcoal )

Re: has ANYONE recovered door panels in 4th gen fabric to match 4th gen seats???

I sent a material request but haven't heard back from them. But I did get a sample for my 85 TA in medium dark gray that was an exact match to the original door panel vinyl.

I have a few requests out right now, when I figure something out I'll post the info.

Thanks again,

Dennis

Re: has ANYONE recovered door panels in 4th gen fabric to match 4th gen seats???

Ok got it figured out:

www.yourautotrim.com

Fabric: 2514 Graphite about $15 yard (this is the EXACT oem material)

Vinyl : Monticello OMNC 6892 Graphite (not OEM, but good match to oem grain texture and sem 17113 Graphite dye)

Dye / Color Coat: SEM 17113 Graphite

Carpet: Auto Custom Carpet 7701 Graphite

Headliner Material : PH 2001 Graphite (This is the exact match for the Pre-covered sunvisors and headliners you get from aftermarket)

I just ordered my materials, waiting on carpet...so I hope this helps

PS. This is for my application (1997 Firebird Seats, camaro may be slightly different)

Got my drivers door panel done today...same materials I listed in the previous post...overall I think they turned out pretty good and about 1/2 the price of aftermarket.
