Seat cushions - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hey everyone, I just got my first FireBird. Been a mustang man all my life and my dad gave me his old 86 TransAm. The seats are horrible and I need to recover them but the covers are so worn the foam cushions are worn down. Is there any one that knows where I can find new after market ones? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

As far as I know you cant get the foam. One option is to take it to a shop they might be able to put on some new foam. Another is to look for some 4th gen seats they are a direct bolt in and look and set better then the old ones.

Thanks Chevyowner02, one more question though. What year did the 4th gen start, 94? I am not up to par on my GMs even thou I work on them. LOL Been with Ford most of my career and life. Thanks for the heads up on the seats being a bolt up to.

93 first year for 4th gen.
