Got a set off ebay. Put the driver side on today & it was kinda hard to close the door. is this normal break in, or should I try to move the striker pin out a lil?

I did mine this last weekend and it's normal, I have to slam mine a little harder but the door still lines up fine. The rubber needs to compress and settle a bit.

The only issue with moving the striker pin out is that your door may not be flush with the body anymore.

I would give it time to "settle" before I start moving the pin.

Mine has been in place for a number of years now. I never adjusted anything.

K thanks guys. slam is the word I needed to hear. When I shut mine it just seems like too much force. It is very nice though when its opened. Pop's right open. Sounds like a new car.

They'll keep the moisture out too for yah.

Lol, ya. Been driving it for three weeks with none on it at all. No door panels still, but now I can talk on my cell phone while driving down the Interstate. Pretty cool. Got everything I need to have the interior done too. I will take some pics later. Got my polk momo 6x9's today, & the hatch w/s. Darn ebay speakers. One is broken. Wait till I get them in though. Im taking the knife to some brand new sail panels, cause the speakers are too big to fit, factory. . Hope it works out.
