4th gen seats on a 3rd gen POWER SEAT track?

Hi All,

I just picked up a set of 4th gen seats and prior to installation, I have a question;

My current seat (Camaro) is power, on a power track.

The new drivers seat is manual, with just the 4 bolt frame.

Has anyone installed a 4th gen seat on a 3rd gen power track? If so, what, if any, modifications need to be made?

Thanks in advance!

Re: 4th gen seats on a 3rd gen POWER SEAT track?

i initially misread you comment. it is a direct bolt in and they fit just right. but the electronics are needed. and i bought the harness that communicates with the passenger seat. then i direct wired the power into the 30 amp fuse block from the factory harness.
i dont know if you have the same plug in for your original power seats but if you do its the same for all dual power seat combs. if that is the case you are already pluged into the 30 amp fuse and you should be ok.

where can you find dual power seat combos? I know of a trans am with electric pass. seat but it was just for lumbar support

The motors for the pass seat fit on the right side of third gens without losing head room?

Re: 4th gen seats on a 3rd gen POWER SEAT track?

Sorry to bring this one back from the dead, but I had this question too.

Looks like the power 3rd gen track will fit on the 4th gen seats. What about the 3rd gen electronic switches? Are they able to be mounted to the 4th gen seat?

I'm not even sure what the 4th gen seat switches look like? Are they similar?
