I found convenience store cigars that were at least 5 years old (the guy had the car in storage). The floors were covered in dried up kernels of Indian Corn, the red and purple stuff.

i found a handful of olddddd skittles under my passenger seat... and when i smelled the transmission fluid to find out if it was burning, it smelled like celery. that smell was verified by two mechanics, so it's no lie! hahahahah

Had to recondition a trade-in today. Pulling the carpeting up to replace it.

I'm...I'm not really sure how or why...but under the carpeting in the trunk, there were 2 1 pound bags of almonds...

Not that odd, but while ripping out the old carpet and putting in dynomat, we found a 1988 swimsuit model book, we are going to keep it with the car for no real reason. There is one guy that one of my buddies somehow noticed he had a deformed foot, and he hid it in every shot, except one. lol

few bullets and some other stuff

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c

I bought the car from a Nissan dealer back in 94 and found an electric bill with the PO's information between the seat and the console. I thought about contacting them to get some history on the car, but never did. Also with the window down I could look down in the door and could see a polaroid picture. I never took the door apart to see what the pic was. Then one day in the parking lot the door got hit and dented with a shopping car. Instead of replacing the skin or fixing the dent they replaced the door, so I never did get to see what the pic was :-(.

well I bought my 84 Z about a little less than a year ago. and while I was doing some electrical work in the fuse box i looked to my left and found an old air cleaner under the seat that looked like it had been on fire. After that more and more things starting turning up to why my car ran for about 2 weeks before the motor was pulled for a rebuild..

I bought my car from the original owner two years ago, and I still have the original cassette holder (not sure where that's supposed to go), complete with guns n roses and KISS tapes. These people loved the '80s lol.

condom wrapper, and here's something to make you never eat fast food again-this car sat from August to this past month when I bought it and there was a perfect french fry under the seat. Scary. Oh and about $10 in change, some cigarettes....that's it though.

Lets see in the camaro, MAF sensor, girls hair tie, chilton manual (that came in handy).

I agree with the dealership guys, had a load of cars come in one time. A fired bullet unmushroomed sitting right on top of one.

Checking over my tacoma found an oil dipstick on top of the fuel tank, now I have a spare I guess.

In my '84 Trans Am, I found a Star Trek action figure and that's about it, but I haven't taken the interior apart yet.

In my '79 Esprit, I found several belgian coins (from before the euro), some lottery tickets and a lot of holes...

In my '90 Formula, when I pulled out the ratty stock seats to replace them, there was a little glass bong under the seat. It explains some of the stupid stuff that was done to the car.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c

Well my car came from a police auction. 1991 Firebird
1-1984-86 camaro berlinetta center console with everything, mint shape, like new!
but i had bought a 1979 monte carlo one time from a guy, brought it to a buddies car lot said he wanted to sell it. My buddy called me said the car was in good shape and the guy needed money really bad, and was pretty much giving the car away. I ended up giving him $475 for the car, lol. (told him it was all i had) I just had to drive him somewhere, he had me drop him off at a pay phone.
later that night my buddy was watching the news and saw they were looking for two guys and a white 79 monte like mine, and explained the same big rims, and broke out 1/4 glass. LOL. Needless to say this is what i found.......
10- dollar bills in roll
6- five dollar bills in same roll
21- ten dollar bills in same roll
8- twenty dollar bills in same roll
1- fifty dollar bill in same roll.
5 car radios
3 amps
bunch of stolen goods, (trunk was full)
150-air fresheners
a built 355
built 350 trans with 3800 stall
built 4:11 posi rear
20" wheels (sold for $500)
car went best of 12.18 in 1/4

lol yep thats a great find!

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c

In my black 89 Firebird - a bunch of cigarette packages folded flat and pushed into the dash.

In my 1991.. Well.. A front nose, box of parts, spoiler, glass t-tops, radiator, T-top bag.. In the center console There had to be over $10 in Dimes, nickles, and pennies, some womans jewelery, and a hair tie..

In the 76 Torino we brought home from Oklahoma.. A mens Seiko watch (broken) hanging from the turn signal lever, A 70's version of cruise control spliced into the wiring harness, and the greatest ever.. The front right tire blew up (It was dry rot, and the belts were showing) So, I did the right thing, jacked it up, removed the tire and what's been laying eggs inside the rim? A black widow spider, There it was staring me in the face, resting where my hand was when I took the wheel off. We tossed it in a jar, and threw the wheel in the dumpster..

Back in the day I had to buy a mini-van (Aerostar, ok let the laughs begin) and when we cleaned out the glove box we found a full set of dentures!

Never did find out who they belonged to.

When I bought my '85, there was a 50 pound bag on concrete in the trunk. Also, I noticed a lump under the carpet near the drivers footwell, when I finally pulled back the carpeting, I found a sunvisor mount under the carpet. I haven't found much else, but I haven't removed the carpeting.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c

Well in my firebird I found three packs of unopened marlboro cigarettes. Some firebird interior trim that doesn't belong to my car. And when I jacked up the rear end a book fell out of nowhere, the title of the the book is "The Car" go figure.

In my nova I found several acorns in the headliner, like 5 bed sheets in the trunk. And, get this, a complete pre-thermac (car had thermac from factory) single snorkel air cleaner assembly stuffed under my bench seat (the seat is pretty high).

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c

I found a KISS t-shirt straight out of the 80s inside the dash when I was removing an aftermarket multi CD changer unit.

On the 89 Honda CRX i used as a winter car, there was a BB gun under my driver seat. This wasn't discovered until the owner e-mailed me a few weeks after the purchase telling me this...

If you're wondering how to activate it, take the ESN from the back of the phone (should be some labels on it somewhere) and find a carrier that offers analog as that is most likely what it is. It is manual programming on that thing though I bet, so you'd need a manual with the codes.

you wouldnt want to connect it.
my dad had one back in the day before cell phones and he paid like 30 cents/min
it was rediculous.

you could probably get it put on your regular line though as an add a line

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c

My find wasn't from the previous owner but from the police when the illegally towed and searched my car. I got it back from them with the ash tray and glovebox spilled all over the seats and floor, the floor mats ripped up, and the floor panels all taken apart. Never did find all the screws, but I did get a large, ugly screwdriver inscribed with "BPD", which was left in the mess.

I don't even wanna tell you guys this, but when I was changing the beat tan interior out to a nice new black interior, I removed the center console only to find a Britney Spears tape.... I cried a lot that day. lol

IPOD shuffle under the drivers seat. My friend also bought a 1991 camaro from a police auction and the ashtray was full of marijuana seeds.

I think ill add to this...The heater core hose was crimped with garden sheers and a ziptie...A wire going from the battery around the hood thrrough the fire wall and to the radio for power (that was immediatly removed)...The clutch pedal was held on by a leather thong...I found a pipe behind the dash...a pack of rolling papers under the center console...cigarette burns galore...7 roaches (not the bug)...roughly a quart of oil spilled in the back seat and carpet area...and an odd metal tube...Oh and don't forget the old stale party snacks and the $1.86 worth of pocket change...Things I havent found in or on my camaro...A hood and a catalytic converter

Bought my thirdgen from some stoner country bumpkin kid.

Found the rearview mirror in the center console and an empty bottle of one hour detox (the stuff you drink that supposedly makes you pass a drug test) under the drivers seat.
