i got a custom two tone leather seat kit from leatherseats.com definatley nicer than the stock leather i had and cheaper than having someone re upholster your seats as for your plastic pieces just use vinyl spray paint just make sure you clean the plastic with good degreaser or it might turn out funny
almost foregot make sure you get low or medium gloss vinyl spray paint i re did my dash in high gloss and its a little bit too shiny and reflects on my windshield way too much
You could go all out and do the 4th gen interior swap. Do some resin work and smooth it all down and paint it gloss black. Depends on how crazy of an interior you want. Ive NEVER seen a full out smoothed and painted gloss 4th gen interior in a 3rd gen. It would look so sick.

If it's in good condition I would leave it especially the plastics. Gray is a good color and doesn't absorb the heat. The stock stuff won't fade or scratch through. Do some accents and update and/or swap out the seats. You could also grab some old door panels and try something with them. If it doesn't work out, then put the originals back in.
If you want to convert to black plastic I would recommend buying a set of original black plastic. Plastic that is dyed or painted black rarely looks as good as original black pieces. Also, if you scratch or scuff a painted piece there's a good chance the original color is going to show through.
As far as you seats go, I would ask around. I'm sure there is a good local shop that could do a nice set of seats for you.
well where could i get a full set of black interior pieces? i know when i look online for them where personal people are selling them by the time i get to them they don't have the full set any more that i need
Thanks so much. I'm finishing off a set of 93-02 Trans Am seat covers in dark ebony with red inserts right now for a guy on here and will be posting some pics within the nest day or so either on here on on our website. They are really sweet.
Thanks for the compliment. For the actual seats reupholstered in gray ultra leather it would be $600.00 plus shipping which would not be too much since you live in Florida I assume? If you only want the covers to install yourself, it would be $475.00 plus $25.00 shipping.
are you in florida too? if thats the case id try and drive the seats to you. how long does it take you to do 2 front seats? also only need the fronts done as nobody has ever ridden in the back.
Yes I'm in Milton Florida right outside of Pensacola. Right now, my next available date would be the second week in October. It would take me about 4-5 days to do the two fronts as I have to wait one day for the ultra leather to get here. The only thing is the ultra leather probably would not match your back seats completely as you have genuine leather instead on your seats. Just to do the two front seats it would be $300.00.
I know October is a ways off, but if you want covers that don't last, fade after a couple of months and start falling apart, then take the chance and buy the other covers that the companies sell. Alot of the companies seat covers are made in China by computer generated machines by the thousands. Mine are made right here in the U.S. by myself and I stand behind all of my work and I have never had one unhappy customer. I'm not knocking all of the companies by no means, but I have seen some pretty crappy seat covers that people have paid way too much money for. Remember, you get what you pay for. Like I said, it could be sooner, but it just depends on how each job goes.Yes I have access to genuine leather, but the price is usually too high and most of my customers don't want to pay the price. One hide is $350.00 and it takes two hides to do a complete set of seats, so your looking at $700.00 just for the genuine leather not including labor. The ultra leather is extremely durable and everyone of my customers have loved it. I can send you some samples if you like. Just send me your address and I will be more than happy to send you some. Then you can see and feel it and you will know if you like it or not ahead of time before making a decision. The ultra leather does not crack over time and does not hold heat like genuine leather does and it is below half the cost of genuine leather. Those are the advantages of ultra leather. Just let me know. Thanks

Hey, covergirl... I came over to pick up that fuel sending unit about a month ago I believe? Dog was jumping all over me! Haha, yeah, well, I live in Pensacola and was wondering if you could send me some ultra leather samples? I have a complete 4th gen ebony interior in my 92 camaro and am trying to get something that would match.
Hi there, I don't remember you as so many people ome over here, but yes if you send me your address, I can send you some samples. I only have one dark ebony color on hand to send though. I have used so much ultra leather here lately, that all my other colors are all gone, but if you want to come over sometime when you have off, I can show you some colors of more ebony in my color chart book.
Thanks, Princess
