These Seats Are The BOMZ!!!!

No thats not a typo lol. Well my car's getting there and another thing on my list is seats. I found these seats for $219 A SET!!!

Here's the dimensions

This is a 4th gen with 'em in. He said "little change to the brackets and they bolt right in".

What do you guys think? I would go with the gray with black inserts (same as second pic) since my new carpet and interior is all dove gray, the black woulsd be a little contrast.

WAY too r i c e r for me, with "BOMZ" printed on them.

Because of that that alone, I wouldn't put them in my car if someone GAVE them to me.

Re: These Seats Are The BOMZ!!!!

think the corbeau forzas are r i c y? I want something different than my stockers, but most are $500+ and these are dirt cheap. A local yard wants 350 for a power 4th gen set in cloth, only problem is most of the sets look pretty worn.

I thought I was clear...

It is the word "BOMZ" printed on them, that makes them r i c e y . Those aren't Corbeau Forzas.

Take the print off & I'd buy them. I'd rather pay the $406 for the Scats from Summit with the mounting brackets designed for our cars, before I bought a stupid r i c e r seat.

Your clear now. I looked up the scat/procar now, i see you can get them with or without the brand name written on them. Think the colors make them r ic y ? I noticed the solid color ones seem more... i cant think of the word, maybe less r ic y? lol

Apparently I'm NOT being clear.

Take THE WORD" BOMZ" off them, and they are fine.

"SCAT" is OK..."Corbeau" is OK. Even "Summit" or "Jegs" would be fine. Lots of words/names would be, but not a r i c e r term. No 2 ways about that.

Re: These Seats Are The BOMZ!!!!

I appologize Stephen, finals have been eating away at my mind! I got ya now. Maybe i'm better off just getting some 4th gens shipped to me, at least they'd be a 100% bolt in. I'll be scouring craigslist and online sites for a while.

No apology needed.

If YOU like them for YOUR car, get them. Just not to MY liking for MY car.

Take the word "BOMZ" off them & I'd like them. But YOU hafta like your car, not me.

The stitching could probably be removed easily enough.

And "scat" is not ok. Google it.

I know what the word is otherwise used for, but Scat is a brand name.

I've had a car with Scat Rally Recliners are they ROCKED! I'd love to have some again, but those aren't made anymore.

Personally I'd cut the lettering off and sew in a matching blue patch, or even a custom label in cloth. If you do it right it could look even better.

Re: These Seats Are The BOMZ!!!!

I have a set of Scat Sportsman black ones, comfortable but to tall, had to cut the brackets down, I am 6' 2" tall. You have to buy brackets to fit our cars about $55 each. I am happy w/them, now that they are adjusted properly..... The lettering I can do w/o. Scat sells them solid w/no markings...

I aggree, I like the "Scott seat" whor originally came out with that design in the first place, plus the mounting for the slide on them is way bad a$$
